You don't need to have read The DaVinci Code to enjoy this amazing look at an art masterpiece.  The Last Supper photographed in amazing detail.

It can take a little while to load, but is well worth it.

What say you now folks?  Is it a woman sitting next to Jesus?

I noticed the lack of facial hair first.  There is one other but that person has a definite male bone structure.  Then I noticed the adornment on her neckline.. it matches the one on Jesus'.  The hair style, the delicate hands and again, the facial structure and complexion.  If it isn't female, it's a darn good one of whatever he is depicting :)

Darn, I thought someone had cloned one of the most precious subs on this site, "Pixel".

How many of them 16 million megapixels are just random noise? Da Vinci wasn’t capable of painting with the accuracy of 16 million megapixels therefore logic dictates that some of those megapixels either repeat the same colour as adjoining pixels or are replaced with noise. How many shades of black are there these days?

Facial structure certainly appears to be female.

The brains interpretation was mine originally.

I looked at the painting just now and discovered another spare (right) hand behind the glass and below the left hand of the guy to the right of Jesus; it is nearly indistinguishable.

I say this only because of my committment to the truth and not to be offensive but someone on the immediate right as you look at the picture is giving someone the finger.

Am I right ?

My interpretation is that the finger is indicative of vehement argument: One, Two, ... I may be wrong.

The last supper was previously discussed in this thread: http://www.collarchat.com/m_338192/mpage_1/key_last%252Csupper/tm.htm
