Sounds rather Gorean, to ahve be well to be a to direct a thing to say for a slave, to mutch of a comand, and come to think of it they are kind of right.

merry meet
merry part
unthil we merry meet again

This one i have learned from the wiccans.

Yup, it's part of the secret kinkster handshake but we're not supposed to tell you until you have studied all the full protocols, and become registered as a slave or earn your "Master".

Dang, looks like someone's leaking Kink secrets...

Whatever it's true origins, it is the parting salutation commonly used by Goreans. That doesn't mean everyone who says it is Gorean, but it accounts for the increasingly common usage here.

you hit the target in the centre there Bob. In a non Gor chat I use either “Be Well” or “I wish you well”. I slave could use the "I wish you well..." but never the "Be Well" as that is a command and slaves are prohibited from commanding Frees. Oddly, if a Free uses "Be Well" it is not considered to be a command. In a Gorean Chat I usually say “I wish you well. May your water bags never be empty. May you always have water.”

many wiccans use the whole Blessed be or Merry Part line to, rather nice when one think of it.

I agree with you there lass. I use the “Merry Meet” and “Merry Part” regularly.

i usualy dont use the whole Merry meet and Merry part line unless i am speaking to other magic practitioners, i belive it is to foramal, and i think Good day is to hard, and i dont like ferewell and can not write by so i often use Be Well as i think it serve its purpose, have a bit of the seesence of the greeting using abound wiccans, and is cosy and peronal.

I hate goodbye. I try to say anything but goodbye. Goodbye is cold, permenant... empty feeling. It doesnt matter how kind or gentle or warm someone is being when they say it. I don't want "Goodbye" to be the last words I tell someone if I end up never seeing them again. Except my Ex..

A friend of mine uses the expression "I wish you enough." I was curious what he ment about this and he told me the whole thing.....

"I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in
life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you
possess.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final
good-bye."
