Exactly, I think the reason for the profile is what really brings out what is put or not put on it.I am collared so my kink likes/dislikes don't matter to the general public but if I were seeking then I would have them up there. I have no idea if my height and weight are on my profile lol and no way did I put my town.

My question is this:
Is it acceptable for you to have others leave their age, weight, height, race, marital status, etc. (assuming these things are available to be filled in on this or other sites) out of their profile in an effort to keep from being judged by that attribute/quality or status?  Is it preferrable to be upfront and avoid those that might judge one for it?  If it is acceptable for you, at what point do you think one should reveal these things?  Are there other things you have left out intentionally but later disclosed and why?

Yeah, I have no problem with people leaving these things out.  I mostly look for age, gender and D/s orientation.  Then again, I'm not typically looking for a mate.

If there was a starting relationship, people should be upfront about things, including their downsides; it's dishonesty via omission if not!

Hi Laurell..... i dont see any reason to leave out my age, weight and height, i am what i am and cant change it. I put my photo in for much the same reason , i had worried someone local may spot it, but thought so what, if anyone i know sees me then they are in the lifestyle anyhow.

So there we have it, all my bad points on the profile and things can only get better.

I have never had any BDSM specific interests on my profile, on purpose.
I do not want anyone contacting me based on what my interests are in this lifestyle, other
than Female Supremacy.
I figure if they understand that concept, the rest will follow.

not a frequent poster or even reader (obviously).
I purposely leave out medical concerns, I feel any that I have can be dealt with if all other criteria are met.  I'm very honest and open about everything that I feel needs to be dealt with in my involvement of BDSM.   I have my profile filled out as completely as I can as to my likes and dislikes and when looking at or contacted by a Dominat who has not filled theirs out I dismiss and delete.

Well. You dont want to go for two pages when you describe yourself. You are after all in some ways trying to "sell" or advertise the parts of you that are best. So short and sweet is best to start. Start with the hook, then as you talk, the other stuff comes out.

I left out the fact that I stumble when I walk, have no taste buds at all, lost all my body hair in a violent firestorm (if anyone's curious...it was in 93 in Wyoming), mumble if anyone taller than 5' 7" walks in front of me, don't trust anyone wearing clothing made of non natural fibers, can't tell the difference between a pin stripe suit and a Winnebago if they were both put in front of me....and....I think Walter Cronkite was Paul Schaeffers last drummer....

(And it hasn't had any effect whatsoever on my ability to get a date).
