i appreciate your candidness about your relationships and hope that being able to live life openly has brought you more peace between you and your mother.  i had an awful relationship with mine, i chose to leave when i was 17 - she didn't agree with or support anything i wanted, ever.  She went to her grave resenting me and holding grudges.

What happened to unconditional love... i think i have it for my kids, it's been tested [image]http://www.collarchat.com/image/s10.gif[/image].  i can't think of anything they would do that would. turn me against them.

Unconditional love isn't the same as unconditional relationships.

At 22 I was dating a man who was 42, I was closer to his child's age than his; a few years later I was dating a man in his early/mid 50s [his grandchild was older than my munchkin and his daughters were older than I was]; I told my family, and they were supportive, I got the, 'as long as you are happy and in a healthy relationship we support you,' speach.  Even now I still prefer men who are older; men in their late 40s and mid 50s are very attreactive, some men get better with age it seems.  Age isn't a big deal, most families in my experience are very supportive as long as YOU are happy; don't make a big deal about the age gap.

I have been a member of both for years, very supportive, vanilla sites, but still supportive and friendly.  They helped me get through a few things I never knew I could. Email me on the other side if you want to talk privately.
