i like the techniques on this page...they work for many lengths of hair, even if the hair is not very long...and the page explains them in a way i can understand them fairly easily...

I bought a hair bondage device at a store called Chained Desires in Baltimore. It hooks tightly around a pony tail and has a D-ring to attach you to whatever evil device he has in mind :)

Their website stinks (many broken links) but is www.chaineddesires.com. Worst case you can call them and they can ship you one. It was about $20.

Thank you all for this information, i will check it all out.... anyone have any more information or a tip they would like to share please do so... There just does not seem to be alot of information on it out there... and well me and my Friend(not sure what to call Him at this point) are both very interested in this and want some basics to begin with... of course together our devious minds have came up with all sorts of cool ideas.. but basics first!!!

Well, I think there isn't that much to be said about hair bondage as a technique. The movie I referred to, and the sites that were mentioned pretty much cover the regular techniques. Of course, after you've mastered one or two ways to tie hair, the question is what you're gonna use it for, there's plenty of options like tying the head downwards or backwards (be careful, go slowly, you don't want to cause neck injuries), or you can do a hogtie with the head lifted backwards somewhat....or... well, use your imagination. For all these things, you don't need more than the basic techniques that have already been posted!
