I would like to purchase a new single tail (preferably bullwhip, already have a snake whip), any recomendations as to where to get one? I recently moved to Toronto, and I like Northbound's clothing, but don't know anyone who owns any of there toys, so I also wonder if there bullwhips are worth picking up. Any suggestions or recomendations would be great.

Hiyas and welcome to the board and to Toronto. Northbounds stuff is wonderful, well made quality stuff, but you can find cheaper at the same quality. Off hand I cant think of anyone local who sells them other than northbound in a physical store, but Im sure someone here wil be able to give you links to other great whipmakers all over the country/northern america.
I know many people feel that you should see and feel the whip before you buy and while I sell floggers and other whips, I dont sell single tails or bulls for that very reason.
I believe there is a group in toronto or niagara that has a whip enthusiast group, you may be able to find out more information there. To find the local groups , events etc, go to www.ehbc.ca and go to their calendar.

thank you for the welcome and OH MY GOD MY LOST LINK. I had that link bookmarked on our old cpu, before we put it down, and I couldn't find it with any search engine and couldn't remember the letters. Thank you so much for the link. :)

I also could never buy a single tail OL with out seeing it or throwing it .. Not sure what type of single tail your seeking how many plat ?what type of hide ? length ?replaceable cracker ?price point ?? I know many Great Craftspeople yet the general -i want a bullwhip statement is a tough order to fill .I also wont sell a single tail to just anyone nor would i just put them online . LOL i have taken floggers outta the hands of people, just watching them swing it around and nearly hittin bystanders nonconscensualy .My main suggestion is learn how a good quality whip is made , seek out a maker in your area and ask questions , how many play , length , material , then throw it and see if you like it ,- is it shot loaded , ballanced ? The more informed you are the happier you shall be in the end .Good luck in your search .

i am personally fond of Victor Tella's work...his website is http://www.snakewhip.com and yes he has more than snake whips....but from what i understand you would get a whip quicker from him by finding out what event he is going to be at that you are going to be at...lol...

then again that is the best way to buy a whip, period...attending vendors fairs...heck...end of November...Mr Leatherman Toronto...look it up, there will be a vendor fair, there will be a vendor with whips there....

I've never thrown one of Northbound's whips but if you are looking for a kink friendly North American whipmaker you can't do better than Victor Tella www.snakewhip.com

Victor makes bullwhips in sizes from three feet up.
