Did you read the link?  It's not a problem of performing in combat.]

Yeah.  All three stories.

So, please explain to me.. how are men making it so much harder for women?

When you were a very young lad, there was  a situation brought to light.  More reading but I'm sure you can handle it:

In short.. women not only have to do the combat (which is fine, that's what they signed up for) but put up with the added stress of being sexually harassed just because they have the misfortune to have a pussy.

The first story just shows differences in stresses.. yes it's geared to women because it is something they may not have considered and just adds to their trauma.  The second article just pissed me off.. if you can't trust a commanding officer, who can you trust?  Another stress point and totally unnecessary.

These are female issues presented for some insight and maybe a bit more understanding, not as excuses.

Why is every time a woman stands up for herself , it's considered (ooooooo) "feminist"?  geeeeeeeeeeesch..must be the new bogyman :) LOL

You should be a white hetro-sexual male and keep your self esteem intact. Everything in the world is your fault, from that female monthly curse to the low yield of milk of the Masi's cattle. Try getting a government job, you are the wrong colour, the wrong sex and have the wrong sexuality. But what the hell, as long as women know how to give a good BJ and are partial to a good pussy pounding I'll go with the flow.

People have told you to join the U S M C.  I would like to point out a few things based on personal experience.  1 WM's (women Marines) are handled with softer gloves than male Marines you never see or hear of a WM DI walking the line and punching the WM recruits in the chest, you never see or here of WM's going on 3 mile log runs (this is where a squid of Marines run while caring a telephone poll. 2 When i was in every time a women got assigned to our unit she would get reassigned the same day she checked in.  She would start out in the morning checking in with med and supply only to spend the afternoon being checked out with med and supply to go be a life guard at the beach or some other useless post.  So yes while the U S M C will take women they will not allow them to actually be in a front line combat unit they may be on the paper as being assigned to 2nd recon bat but they will never actually be there.  Now some of this may have changed since i was in but i doubt it.  Now should women be allowed in those units my personal answer is No.  I'm sure that there are some that can give great arguments as to why I'm wrong.  Spending 60 days in the field living out of the packs you carry on your back and off of the land would only get more complicated if we have to stand around and wait for a emergency air drop of tampons (yes i know they have wings now but they still cant fly themselves into the bush) Honestly i would spend too much time watch a woman in the field and not enough time doing my job but thats just me.

I know nothing about tampoons and such around my house they are called sticks.  All i know is what the box loks like that im supposed to pick up at the store.  Honestly i dont need or want to know anything else other than what my GrandFather tought me.  Never trust anything that bleeds of a week and doesnt die that just aint normal.  GrandDad was a old hillbilly from way back in the woods.

I wouldn't want to be treated any differently. I want to join seeing and hearing the testiments of men, so Ive seen what they do to them and thats what I want!
I wanna be pushed, I wanna to call me fat and lazy and push me to my limit and see how I react!
As long as they didn't grab my crotch or my tits Id be fine, Id be happy!
I want that whole screaming in my face, telling me how crap I am, being throw over wall, climbing up ropes, thighs burning after running miles upon miles upon miles, bruised, battered and aching!
I wanna be one of the Elite!
I want that state of mind!

Dont you claim to be a Dommme ? lol.Isn't that what you do?
If you were in the band you could at least blow your own trumpet.

Goddess20 -> RE: I'm so offended! (11/5/2007 4:51:55 AM)

I have to say I do fing that quite offensive!

1) why cant we just put tampons in our packs? theres your solution right there!
2) the other solution would be just to bleed, Im guessing that would be the last of a womans problem in the middle of a war zone having a bit of blood down your lags!
and
3) give women the pill, if you dont stop taking it you dont get a period, I know this because thats what I do know, I havent had a period in 6 months and my tits are huge! My sister did that for 3 years, no period or symptoms for 3 years. so 60 days, 2 periods, I think we'd be just fine.

If thats your only reason for woman no being on the frontline its a pretty lame one!

Wasnt it true that in one of those really dangerous War Zones like Grenada I think a US female soldier burst into tears and disobeyed an order. Dont recall what happened tho'.

TankII7871 -> RE: I'm so offended! (11/5/2007 9:36:41 AM)

Well since every one is supposed to pack their packs identical i guess the men can carry tampoons aswell.  Otherwise someone reaching into your pack to grab a bandage to stop the blood loss from your wound might come up with a tampoon by mistake (i guess you could put one in a bullet hole) As for letting the blood drip down your leg lets see you have the corpsman always checking you for a week to see if your wounded or if your just raggin.  You have the other side using trained dogs to hunt down your postions and im sure they will ingore a blood scent As for the pill im sure that while dodging bullets stepping over land mines and the such you will never forget to take your pill.  Now is that only reason for not wanting women in combat Nope it isnt  Hearing a male screaming out after they are wounded with the other side waiting for you to try and rescue your buddy so they can shoot you is bad enought.  I couldnt imagine how bad it would be if it was a female laying out there screaming or how many men would do as they were tought growing up and try to rescue her getting themselfs shot up.  It also goes against my upbringing that a Man is supposed to protect Women. Call me a cave man a male pig  what every you wish around here they call me a Gentleman  I have very little argument when it comes to a woman cant do everything a man can for the most part men and women can do the same things.  But a mixed unit is always asking for trouble just look at how many women came home from the last blow up in the sand box with the ept award ( pregnant)

I knew that because every time I happen to be eating my sausage and chips covered in lots of lovely thick ketchup  an advert will come on TV telling me how those wings help  contain those little spillages that can happen when the wings are not there.
Proper puts me off my tea that does.

Goddess20 -> RE: I'm so offended! (11/5/2007 11:43:16 AM)

Ok reason number 2 is out the window, I'll admit that one.

But Ive taken the pill since I was 16 and never missed one thats almost 6 years, everyday for 6 years at 6pm I have taken that pill without fail! actually thats a lie, I missed 1 once and for an hour I was out of my mind knowing I had forgotten something, so 1 time for 1 hour I missed that pill.

Now I could calculate how many hours that is but I wont, but by anyones standard thats not bad going, 1 hour!

Remember: Women are like elephants, we never forget!

When did this thread turn into a periods thread?

Goddess20 -> RE: I'm so offended! (11/5/2007 11:53:49 AM)

And I do thank all men for their 'gentlemanliness' [>:] but if that stops me doing what I want, then I don't want it!

Hold a door open for me, pay for dinner, buy me roses but (in the words of Britney spears) dont over protect me because then it just goes into the realm of offensive and just bloody annoying!

Tank started it dang it....

we always had to have "feminine protection" with us during basic training.  one feller in a different platoon was watching us do push ups too much one day, so the DI told him "you like the female trainees so much boy, you can march with them today".  he then sent him to the px to purchase his "feminine protection" and made a big show of making him put it in his picket in front of the entire company.

lawd, some days the military is just fun!

joanus -> RE: I'm so offended! (11/5/2007 12:35:44 PM)

Dont feel bad America doesn't let women join the Navy Seals. This is for your protection. Those guys are brutally tortured when captured. Also Snipers are never taken as POW the are killed on the spot. Why? Because in actual combat it is nearly impossible to tell who actually kills who. But snipers leave their calling card with each kill and you bet your ass the enemy know exactly how many and which one of their buddies you killed, and for that you get know mercy. Same thing for troopers who use flamethrowers, and assassins. So count your blessings babe.

bipolarber -> RE: I'm so offended! (11/5/2007 1:52:18 PM)

I think you'd be better off emegrating to the US, and we could train you in the fine art of "information retreival." It's a whole new branch of the military that is just now opening up, and we'll need all sorts of trainees from every walk of life. We had one that was promising, a one Pvt FC Wendi Englund, but she washed out when some embarassing photos got leaked of her nightly romps.

It's a wild, carefree world! So come on over to the US, and join the "good guys!"

PS, you'll need to bring your own waterboard. (there is a budget crisis going on.)
