Carelessly caring Stare at the world through the stars [It’s all so tiny…so insignificant] Watch it like a movie that plays too slow [As it speeds by] There’s no sound It’s not a silent film…just too slow Blink for a moment And you’ve missed a century Watch the world from the stars Nothing matters But it’s all important Caringly careless We watch as it goes by Too jaded to see A little kid starves And we think “There’s another one” As we buy the new clothes That make us right With the ‘in’ crowd Fuck the world It’s going to hell anyways Slowly destroying it’s self For nothing and no one [For the future and everyone] Careless Caring A dollar to the homeless That lives on the corner So he won’t spit on your shoes Used to buy something to make the world Just vanish in his eyes For just a little while The stars watch that homeless man And smile Because he gets it He understands Nothing matters But it’s all important [image]local://upfiles/130798/FF42C11719434A3BAE33A5E53BCFD2CD.jpg[/image]
