Yup,anti-neo-con Dr. Ron Paul, made history with his record day.

The main stream(right-wing) media didn`t notice,or maybe they`re ignoring it on purpose.

My opinion, the back room guys are trying to put the kibosh on his run.

Here`s the 1st GOP post debate "spin".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8oO_OD3PtI

Notice how Paul is referred to as a "2nd" tier candidate.

Notice GOPAC chairman Michael Steele`s comment, that Paul "is done".What a jerk.

Watch Sean Hannity's reaction, when at first,Paul leads the "Fox News Text Poll",like he ate a lemon. He`s such a phony.Paul ends up placing 2nd.

Is Yahoo main-stream media?

Maybe,I guess.I was thinking TV news,radio,etc.

This was a record. That alone, should have made more news.

Yahoo isn't tradition MSM, agreed, but it does reach a lot of people.

Trying to find the Yahoo piece (no luck), I came across links to a variety of news stories. So it sounds like the story got at least some play.

If he promises to end the Iraq war,I would vote republican(if he wins the primary).

To me,it`s that important.

Ok, lets say we're on Fantasy Island, and Ron Paul gets elected President. How much of his agenda do you honestly think he'll get passed with the current congress? He has zero partisan support, let alone any bi partisan support.

And anything he wants to accomplish would have to be thru executive orders, which congress will conviently outlaw, if Paul tried to use them.

Your analysis is amateurish.

1st, bush is using those EOs now, with impunity.

2nd,you aren`t a fortune teller, and have no clue how Paul would govern.

My feeling is that he`s act like a president and restore the rule of law.For me,that would be enough, and all he`d have to do.

If Paul were actually elected, I think Congress would have to respect at least some of that mandate.

More likely, he'll be the spoiler that allows Hillary to win an election where half the electorate will never vote for her.

Ron Paul is this year's Howard Dean. He put together a very powerful internet campaign and raised lots of money.... but he can't transform that into true votes. He's not getting any traction in the polls. Meanwhile, Mike Huckabee who only has $600,000 in the bank has surged to 10%......10 times more points than Ron Paul.

Now really, how much sense does that make? I guess the PTB will have some of you believing that the donors of all those millions to Paul's campaign will be voting for someone else.
