our min wage is 6.85 an hr... gas right now is running depending on which side of town ur on. 2.98 a gallon to 3.02 a gallon, so here if you have enough gas already to drive 10 miles you can get it cheeper than the south side gas prices lol...

We're paying over a pound a litre here now, £1 (UK) = $2 (US). And yes i said a litre NOT a gallon. You have no idea how cheap you have it over there!

ok here it goes after some research on my area here is where everything fits in,... the adverage worker here gets paid 7.50 an hr, they work about 8hrs a day . thats 60 a day, and they work about 32 hrs a week, thats 320 a week.. the average tax rate is about 12% thats equals out to 281.60, thats without state, city and ssi deductions. them 3 combined equals out to 10 % so here we go again with the math lol... now we're down to 253.44 a week, where they work depends on them but knowing from my own personal driving it can be anywhere from 1/2 mile away to 20 miles away some even more. so lets just say that most of us are driving cars that the gas tank holds about 20 gallons of gas at 2.98 a gallon, thats about $59.06, and we have to refill at least one more during the week. so on a adverage work week driving the same each week in total we are paying 119.20 only on gas. taking that away from the 253.44 it leaves us with. 134.24 for food, bills, rent, car payments, kids expenses. so on the bases that we are paying a lil under half of our wages on gas actualy sucks lol...

PA is a right to work state [blow me] we invented the 39 hour week. [weis] min wage is 5.15. based on todays gas cost- at 34 miles round trip top job-= it is cheaper for me to be retired. 3.09 for gas. in the past year- most everyone i know HAS cut down on trips. unlikes say 10 years ago. any house under 80k needs work. at least in the general valley, population 200k

3.09 a gal in Savannah GA when i filled up last night. How i deal with the price well i use a company credit card and write it all off so in the end I dont care what it cost its just that much less the fed is getting out of me. Eric

Averaging 2.79 here. I wish I was back in Morocco NOW where we can fill our tank for the equivalent of 3 US dollars. If people are going to use foreign gas prices then the equivalent should be given in US dollars. Spain I am sure will be much more expensive as when I lived in the UK we were paying something like 5 US dollars per gallon. Countries like the UK, most of Europe and other places which sell by the litre cost so much more! So, my friend MrS, quit ya bitchin'! hahahahaha!

I love Jersey! The cheapest I've seen here was $2.67 for regular and the most expensive was $2.85 for regular. And mind you, this is Northern NJ where everything is nearly as expensive as NYC. If I were to go south past Trenton I'm sure things would get even cheaper. But I have to agree, it's still too much for gas. And last time I checked our minimum wage was $5.15.

3.30 a gallon, heh.... from 3.04 this morning. min wage is on the rise here i think its almost $7 a hour now, but winter heating is $$$$$$$$

$1.30 a litre, but in the next few weeks until after christmas, they're predicting at least $1.50, and as the englishman mentioned, that's per litre (roughly 4 litres to a gallon)

in Chicago, it depends where you live and which station you go to. yesterday i saw $3.14 at one station and across the street it was $3.25 at the BP
