Some of you know that I currently live at a YWCA. Many of you know that I just bought a new car. I picked it up today. Well, unbeknownst to me, street slang for a car is the word whip. The woman that works the front desk asks me today if I got my new whip. I was waiting for a Dom friend of mine to pick me up to go get the car and we were going to celebrate by playing after. I recently purchased a new toy and had it in my pocket, so when she asked, I pulled it out of my pocket and showed her. You should have seen the look on her face. LMAO!!!! jen

Maybe I need to move to the Y ....... so I can afford new toys and a new car rather than paying a mortgage LOL

Maya,
The only reason I can afford a new car and some toys is because my grandfather passed away this summer. My grandparents had put money aside for me for after they died and with my grandfather passing, my grandmother, who is 94 and has early Alzheimer's, cannot be alone, so she moved from Florida to North Adams, MA to live with my uncle. Now that she lives closer to me, I wanted to be able to spend as much time with her in her remaining time, so I asked if I could have that money now, to buy a reliable car. She agreed that she would prefer me to have it while she was still alive, so I could spend time with her.

The car also will help me in my job search, which will allow me to get my own apartment.

Thanks, azropedntied.

Many already know about my kinks, but the reaction was still priceless.

OMG I love it!!! Too funny!

I also think it's wonderful that you are able to spend time with your grandmother. Memories to savor.

FangsNfeet -> RE: Vanillas Should NOT Use Our Words As Slang (11/8/2007 7:24:49 PM)

I could almost see this happening to me. What a crazy and funny story.

Maya2001 -> RE: Vanillas Should NOT Use Our Words As Slang (11/8/2007 7:26:35 PM)

Just teasing/joking around, no offence meant, glad you can spend time with your grandmother , mine lived overseas  and during her last days I was a struggling single mom and could not afford the plane ticket to be able to visit and say goodbye.  So really, I am happy for you.

That's hilarious. Who would think you'd just happen to have a toy in your pocket when she asked about your whip. Great story.

sammiebabygirl -> RE: Vanillas Should NOT Use Our Words As Slang (11/8/2007 7:46:12 PM)

No offense taken, Maya.
I had, until today, been having mini panic attacks about buying a brand new car, especially with me living at the Y and not working. My plan was to buy a certified pre-owned, but my mom and Dom friend convinced me otherwise.

I just have this thing about having things I haven't earned. Luckily, Master Alan set me straight.

So, kids, the moral of the story is when someone asks you for whip-play....

you better fucking think twice.

azropedntied -> RE: Vanillas Should NOT Use Our Words As Slang (11/8/2007 9:16:18 PM)

I read and  posted on this prior to going out tonight for dinner .for some odd reason the waitress was a lil skattered forgetting a couple of requested items , she said she was extreamly sorry for the lack of service and forgetting my items and she should be flogged right away for her indiscressions and gave a smile .My reply was No  you shall not have an act of flogging for punishment as it seems you will enjoy that , a harsher punishment  would have  to be thought up and i gave a smile .Her mouth dropped and it seems she went  right into protocal "Yes Sir "Thank you kind Sir " is all she said and retrived my menu items that were tardy .
I post this not to try in any way to seem to one up the OP ,but more so to think humm never know who is what out there in the world .
grins - guess why i resemble a Switchy ??

When someone uses the line, "Whip me, beat me, make me write checks" at work; do you want to ask "When do you want to start?"

C/C well as mom used to say you can not get blood from a stone -If the first party instigates the lines what are we to do?guess i have never been too PC .Though i would not instigate nor start the conversation to a stanger like that . Merc why YES i would say that if asked "maybe " depends on the circumstances ,and if i had a work place to attend ,but i work for myself so guess i have no worries about that one .
Smiles back @ jen ..thanks again for sharing

On a similar note, I was working with team member on a project the other day. The deadline was fast approaching (hours away) so I had called her in to help me finish. A few minutes into our now joint effort, she tells me "tell me what to do. I'll do whatever you ask". I did a mental double take on this and the thought "Oh, reeeally" went through my head.

Guess who I have a date with next weekend? [:D]

Honsoku

Ohhhhh. Have fun on your date. See, we are everywhere. <Grin>
