Can anyone vouch for the quality of Eros Pjur latex polish or recomend a good one, or vouch for the effectiveness of silicon lube, heard that works well too.

Thanks alot.

black beauty is what i use , it works for me . I have not tried the eros product and never felt the need to try since i found a product that works . Some automotive based products  like STP son of a gun and other auot v- rubber protectants can also work .Its also in the storage of your items aswell that make them last .Cleaning them with a harsh detergent will also dry them out  use a mild soap not detergent cleaner less chemicals and additive the better , rince well and condition .hope that helps ya .

we sell black beauty,Pjur, and rimba latex polishes and all work well, and yes some of the automotive supplies work well too.and are by far the cheapest my advice is to try them on a piece(if you use liquid latex paint swatches then try them out for the best responses.

Latex fetishists use and will swear by FGS also known as Food Grade Silicone or pretty much any quality silicone lube. My favorite is either Gun Oil or the Pjur Eros, although they are expensive, it only takes a little to go a long way. WET Platinum is a bit cheaper and works almost as well. I find Black Beauty to be a little more work than I'm generally willing to put into it as I find it leaves to many streaks and is often uneven. I also go through it faster. This question comes up often. Do a search and you'll see lots of replies.

Also, be cautious with the automotive stuff. Some of it has ingrediants that are actually detrimental to your rubber and latex.

Not all latex ,rubber wearing fetishists Swear by silicone's .I personaly do not like it and i know many others who do not aswell .To me the fun part about conditioning any of my wears is having it done while i am wearing the garment .pointing out streaks and mis spots  is even better- rub ,rub. We can all give  our views on what works for us and what we  like , and aslong as your using a product that does not harm your good to go .As stated before  storage is very important , as is post wear cleaning and conditioning  for long product life of the garment .I know i have left a pair of  gloves in the bottom of one of my toy drawers and forgot about them with no treatments long ago .I found them and they dried out and were trash from the dry arrid Arizona  conditions  .In short you wanna keep it  take care of it .

To my knowledge, all the latex polishes are silicone spray used to obtain the sheen.  You can get the same stuff as said above at the auto store or hobby store for quite a bit less.  Someone correct me on this if I am wrong.  I have number of bottles of different brands that I used to test and compare and would not recommend one over the other.

*makes note to start making private label silicone spray*

Well I'm biased of course but I recommend Lucky Latex Polish :-)

Actually I have a range of latex care products including a cleaner and dressing gel too. It's not the cheapest but if you've invested in an expensive latex wardrobe you should really take care of it...

I like the Pjur polish, as the auto stuff has other yuckies in it. Also, because My skin doesn't tolerate powder, I store My latex in salt.

Hands down, the Eros/Pjur products are worth the money, plus they're versatile.  You can't use that Black Beauty/Tire Shine shit as lube.

I swear by Gun Oil, a Silicone Based will last longer on the wearer than anything else...
