i had a friend who was a very creative masochist, and liked to say that "masochism is just sadism turned inwards"... And when i say she was creative, she was always FULL of ideas for ways that other people's Dominants could torment their s-types, and was always more than happy to share them [:D] She even gave us our first bottle of cinnamon oil. i never figured out whether she had a voyeurism thing going, or was being a painslut by proxy, or was just a sadist and masochist rolled into one.
i've got a serious bondage fetish, and i occasionally think about what it would be like to Top somebody who shared that interest just to try out some of the ideas that are always milling around in my head... But for the most part, i'm more the sadist-turned-inward type... Always looking for a way to suggest methods for making things harder on myself, without falling into the "topping from the bottom" trap.
