Your post struck a chord in my heart, because that's exactly why i'm back here, as well. I met my first self-proclaimed Dom here a few years ago. I was too naeive to accept that the world He was offering was a real place that i could really exist in; and i let what we had shared go, with way too much ease, and mainly for convenience--as we lived on opposite sides of the state. Oh if i had known then what i do now... /sigh. I've thought often of trying to regain his affection, but i know that what's past is past, and now it is time to move forward. Anyway, when i read your note it inspired me to say hello, nice to meet ya! Good luck in this search, i know too well how difficult it can be at times!
