Has anyone here actually been branded? If you have can you describe the way it happens and what is done and how you felt before during and after? Was it done professionally or was it done by your Master/ Mistress? If you could, please go into detail that would be great.

Have you read the recent thread on branding?  There were a few people (petdave, slavesunshine, chellekitty, and myself) who talked about having been branded.

In terms of how it happened during the branding, what it felt like, how I processed it rather than typing out a whole bunch of information I'll just refer you to a website I put up after the branding that goes through all of that and has a slideshow of the brand as it healed, thats at: www.wildfleurs.com/brand

Your site is lovely. The slideshow wasn't working and i couldn't read the b;ack print becasue the red was too bold, i guess it's old age. But everything was very pretty. i would love to be able to read it one day.

I am branded. My Master did the branding himself using a soldering tool. It hurt like crazy. But he went slow and I bit down on a thick piece of leather. The brand is beautiful. Master did an excellent job. I actually have a picture of my brand on profile on CM.

i was branded some 20 years ago. Mistress refused to do it but allowed me to do it myself as an act of my total sumbission to Her. i fashioned the the letter K by welding some pieces of steel together. i then used a torch to heat it red hot while holding it in a pair of pliers. i then placed it on the bricks of our fireplace hearth and sat on it. The pain was extream but i managed to sit on it long enough for it to burn in real good. What i learnd is that the branding irion should probably be made of wire rather than steel. The steel is too thick causing too much of a burn and within a year the scar, which started out as a K, had turned into an unrecognizable burn scar. Mistress K and i both know the significance of the scar and that is what is really important, but i would have loved it if others to see what it really is. BTW, i have her name tattoed above the base of my penis. i still get arroused when i think of her sitting with her legs crossed at the parlor while it was done so many years ago.

Still don't think I can handle a branding... I'll stick to my tattoo... I envy those that can handle a branding though. Just not for me. [:D]

I was going to write that I think branding is totally hot, but then I realized that was a seriously bad pun, so I won't.

IamJustMe2C -> RE: Speaking of being branded (11/14/2007 1:42:00 PM)

Branding when done properly feels cold not hot. I have branded hundreds of people with many designs threw the years and have shown many people in the tattoo business how to properly do this type of art. It can be so sensual when done by a Master to his slave. But what most dont realise is that placement of a brand is crucial. Because you are actually burning the skin and can burn threw the skin and into the tissue as well (going to deep) you can cause nerve damage. It is rare that people do this because most would not put a brand on the neck or wrist as well as the ankle but there are places on the back as well. If you are planing on having this done by your Mistress and not by a Pro please have her contact me and I will be happy to inform her of the proper materials she should use to have the best looking brand possiable. Something else you should think about as well that most dont know about. Did you know you can add color to a brand. It is expencive to do so and you only have 4 choices is color red, gold, blue, and orange they all have a metalic shine to them and yes you can mic the color and have a color combo as well. Most pro's dont carry the color because it is expencive and not many people are interested in this but in this lifestyle we are a bit different anyways.
Be Well and good luck

I saw a brand on this guys arm one time(he wore it like a tatoo). It was awesome looking. The scaring was thick and raised up really really high. I don't know how they did it but it appeared like he was rebranded several times to increase the scaring. I don't know how they made the scaring raise up instead of make indent. It might be the kind of skin he had.

I have a brand on my arse. M did it himself. It was done with thin wire and has kept it's shape perfectly. I was apprehensive, but not excessively so, as I didn't know he was intending to do it at the time. I was told to keep still and if you knew M, you'd know that that means *keep still*. It stung for a few seconds, throbbed for a few hours and itched for a few weeks as it healed.

I have two brands, one each on my inner forearms. Here's pictures.
http://masterfiremaam.com/PageImages/Firebrand/Brands.htm

Yes, it was painfull...and the longer it went on the more I dreaded each dot. But, I knew the pain was only temporary and the effect would be worth it. It continued to burn for hours because, well, it's a BURN. There was a smell of cooking flesh that went with it. That didn't bother me.

What suprised me most was that I didn't go anywhere...meaning I didn't slip into non-ordinary reality from it. I'd expected to. Instead, I was very grounded and very present.

I had it done professionally. Sam was kind enough to do it for the cost of a night' lodging and gas money. Sam was working on her (might be his...I'm not sure about her gender identification) portfolio for body modification. She's now located in Atlanta.

My girl also has brands on her forearms. she had the I-Ching strike branded by Fakir.

Sorry about that! But the slideshow has been repaired, so it should work.  In terms of the font, you can always highlight, copy, and paste it to a notepad or microsoft word document to read and make the font larger to read easier.
