Was wondering if viagra can be taken twice in a day. I am going to be active at 10AM and again later on in the day at around 3PM. I was thinking about taking 25mg in the morning and again later on in the afternoon. My doc prescribed 50mg and I usually take half a pill. The effects are supposed to last for 4 hours. Is this safe? Should I just take 50mg in the morning and hope for the best?

I agree with the others... although I doubt that taking half your perscribed dosage early, and then the other half five or six hours later would do much harm. If anything, I think it would lessen the impact on your heart rate and BP... of course, it may also leave the desired effect not quite as strong as you'd like....

I myself have the 50mg pills. I always cut them in half, and have no trouble with the effect. However, I tend to wait a full 12 hours between doses.

Again, talk to your doctor.

Be careful what you ask for. You might not like what the outcome of it is.

If it were me- I would error on the side of caution with this type of med. [tho] it is your body......
