DemocracyNow! Interview with Dennis Kucinich
http://www.jwharrison.com/blog/2007/11/09/democracynow-interview-with-dennis-kucinich/

-----

Kucinich exposes the Democrats for the corporate cocksucking and cynical next election whores that they are and have been for such a long time.

And if you are on the fence about impeachment, consider these two ideas:

I did not have sex with that woman.
...versus...
I fabricated and twisted evidence to foment the invasion of Iraq.

The former is almost certainly a lie, but has no national interest. It's a wonder such a question was ever asked at all. Really, a miracle...I mean, goddamn it - the president has his finger on the button to launch nuclear warheads. Maybe we should have that guy sexed up at the taxpayer's expense every few hours!

The latter statement is precisely what Cheney has done. Thousands of American lives have been lost thanks to this war. Billions have been spent. And money is time is man hours is the loss of people's lives - lost paying off a debt that need never have been created in the first place.

But sure, go ahead, keep opposing impeachment. Because I guess there's so many other more important things congress should be doing - like creating legislation to go after internet file-sharers!

While Kucinich, the former mayor of Cleveland, is thought of as a bit of a gadfly, he does have a message worth listening to.  The excuse i keep hearing for not instituting impeachment proceedings is that Bush is a lame duck and the proceedings cannot reasonably be expected to be finished before his term of office runs out.

Frankly this cuts no ice with me.  i say they start on it tomorrow and work at least half of every day on it to end Bush's term even one day sooner.
