You could try plucking with a tweezers. When it is very cold- hair helps. Also- things such as eye brows catch particles that could go into eyes.  Hair grown on my tattoo which then looks crappy. So im interested what others suggest here. I just shave it off.

What one consumes can sweat out thru the pours....some sweat- others dont. In summer I have to change alot. Socks in particular.

If anyone mentions hormones- you dont want that...

Joanus,
Even though you asked for suggestions besides waxing, this is really your only option.. Laser or electrolysis costs alot of money.
Waxing will last a few weeks at a time.  Go to a professional 4 or 5 times first to get the technique down. Then if you buy your own products and learn how to do it yourself it's not very expensive.

I waxed my ex's back twice last year.  It was great that he had no idea that it didn't HAVE to hurt as much as I made it hurt.

Joanus, as for permenant hair removal, its a pretty pricey procedure..and it really is the only option if you want permenance. Waxing or plucking is probably going to be your best bet. After youve waxed for a while, alot of times hair stops growing back or grows back much finer and softer. There are also lotions to inhibit hair growth you can put on after waxing to slow down your hair regrowing.

dip the pads of your fingers in tobacco (or some sort of other, perhaps incense) ash for plucking.

Supposedly Native American men tweezed their hair with clam shells, after a while, each successive re-growth became finer and less noticable.

Or Joanus could just go nads....
