I've got no respect for Bonds, or anyone else who seeks to tilt the playing field to his or her advantage... whether the arena is sports, politics, or whatever.

It is a shame… he would have been a great player even without steroids. But if it had to happen to someone I’m glad it happened to him. In days gone by players still cheated but they were smart enough to always show respect to their fans. If he is convicted I wonder if baseball will throw out his records? If they do who would inherent them….McGwire…Sosa? Has anyone in baseball hit more home runs in a year than Roger Maris except for these three? Are they going to put McGwire and Sosa under oath and demand to know if they took steroids? Something else I don’t understand… in the story I was reading Bonds was reported to of failed a steroid test starting in 2001. Who gave the test and why were the results hidden? Butch

Does anyone remember 1998?? Magwire had his shit sitting on the shelf of his locker in the clubhouse, and it was clearly labeled "androstenedione" did every one think andro was just another vitamin?? Seriously though at least Magwire was man enough to admit he was on 'roids, then. The lying is why I loathe Bonds, hell even Marion Jones has finally come clean about her 'roid use, I hope he does significant jail time.

I’m a Cards fan but the only difference between Bonds and McGwire is McGwire had a better lawyer…. He was smart enough to refuse to answer the steroid question. He said he did not want to talk about the past only the future. To me he may as well admitted his guilt then and there. I say let Maris and Aron keep their records. Butch

Barry Bonds is a liar and a cheat. He deserves jail time. He deserves to not be in the HOF. He deserves to have his record taken away. He's a dork.

NO WAY bonds took roids ???- omg! -but they also said OJ did not do it ?.You need proof uuuh look at him .kinda like neverland ranch was not built for a pedifile either .

yes and you know he was the only one cuz in all other sports and their players also said no i never touched the stuff .now who wants to buy a bridge step right up .

-- see the cripple people that this drug is meant to help- when a body ages- and it then needs this type of drug- it is of no help if the person abused it in the youth years. being a chronic pain sufferrer- i was warned about a few things. that is is like using a bandaid to hold a title wave. i seen a quack that went way beyond- the exceptable 3 shots max. [31] i refused after 31. so i never had number 32. i hope i stopped it in time. what this means is next time the punch will be ineffective. with possible other consequences... roid rage is real.

Thank goodness! If this takes him out of the game, then baseball will be a completely pure sport where absolutely no one else will ever take steroids! The real crime is how boring baseball is. Who would have thought putting a dozen guys on roids together would have them just standing there for 3 hours.
