Hello all.

I was talking to a slave friend of mine recently (she doesn't belong to me, just friends), we got on the subject of training. She mentioned that a previous Master of hers had trained her to enjoy watching hockey by associating sexual activity with the televised games. He would have her pleasure him orally during the game (she loves oral more than anything, so this is rewarding for her), and would have her orgasm every time the home team scored a goal. If the home team won, he would immediately have sex with her. Needless to say, she grew to love watching hockey.

My question is this -- what sorts of activities have you trained your subs/slaves to enjoy, and how did you go about it? As a corollary, have you ever tried to "train" yourself to enjoy an activity using sex with a sub/slave as a reward?

I'm toying with the idea of coming up with a method of training a sub/slave to enjoy reading Shakespeare and other classics with me, but the method described with the hockey story doesn't lend itself quite so well to that -- suggestions would be welcome.

It might have been easier to find someone who enjoyed reading the classics than to train one to love reading the classics. i'm not sure how reading becomes a shared activity as opposed to a shared interest. However, you could do something like toss out a Shakespearean quote and which of his works it comes from and then give rewards when she is able to recite the next line. Or use one play as the basis for a scene with each of you in character. Ivanhoe or Beowulf would lend itself nicely.

I bet if you started with the romantic Shakespeare plays and acted them out--there's some damn hot stuff there. Katerine and Petruchio's first meet. "What, with my cock in your tail.. come sit on me." Oh, my. If a guy let me play that way, let me be all attitudey, knowing darn well Katherine learns her place and becomes kate. Maybe set a lovely table, with whip cream and strawberries and permission to be really bad if appropriate to the character because she totally challenges Petrucio, and he puts her in his place. Oh, I think I have a new interest...

After you've made the beast with two backs a couple of times.... then you can move on to Othello. But maybe skip the last act of each of the tragedies.

<tongue firmly in cheek> You could always fuck her whilst reading aloud a sonnet, timing yourself to the metric beat of course. See if you get all the way through. A Shakespearean bent on associating pleasure with pain...kinda like.

Personally, I would take up a huge love for the classics in no time..lol.

That to me isn't training a woman to like hockey, it's training her to respond to a particular stimulus in a way which gives her something she already likes. The particular stimulus just happens to be hockey.

It's not a bad FIRST step- but if your actual goal is to have them begin to like and enjoy hockey on their own independently, to seek out hockey experiences and enjoy the love of the game for itself...there's a lot longer way to go here.

I'm afraid LuckyAlbatross missed the point of the hockey story. The delight in training for the Dominant is the role as trainer. It is not an attempt to actually create a pupil who exhibits mastery of a particular subject matter.

For example, pony play is not aimed at developing a transportation alternative. Let's see I have to get some milk at the super market. I know I'll just harness my naked Pony Girl and save on gas.

I myself enjoy puppy play. I like to train the girl to bark on command and be led around on a leash. If I wanted a real puppy I would just go to the pound.

I guess if someone just has a training fetish, then training any sort of stimulus/response into someone is getting what they want.

But I find that's a rare section of tops. Mostly people want subs trained towards something specific which helps the functioning of the relationship. In that case, specific results and mastery is definitely key.
