Has anyone seen this? I have seen it a handful of times and LOVE it. That has to be some of the best S&M I have ever seen, lol.

I don't consider that movie to be S&M oriented at all; in fact, I found it quite misogynistic, to both men and women. Not sure where you saw S&M in it at all, unless you love real life castration.

I should have posted a link, did not really think about it. http://www.flixster.com/movie/hard-candy I think it was all the mindfucking that made Me think S&M, afterall a large part of that does take place in the head, that is always My main goal as well, I love a good mind game. Although I will admit that whole castration thing was VERY exciting.

The movie really makes you think, thats for sure. I can see where people would relate it to S&M although i dont think that was the original intent. It is a very provoking film...

Oh I dont think S&M was the original intent either, just like Hostel, but it does not mean that is not what it is. I love the evil vibe between them, its so hot.

I LOVE this movie... one of my favorites. Starring Ellen Page who played Kitty Pride in the X-Men movies and more recently starred in JUNO. I got sucked in by the Hard Candy trailer and I had to buy it when it came out on DVD. One of the better psycological thrillers.

I typically hate horror genre movies, but I enjoyed this one. Also, not into CBT, but it was fun watching my boyfriend squirm and grimace. Plus, child molesters totally deserve that and worse.

I'm scarred for life from the whole castration thing. But then, most things like that make me rather ill rather quickly. Heh. The plot was interesting, and Ellen Page is brilliant, but if anyone even suggests I watch it a second time to see if I like it anymore, I might have to go and throw up at the thought. ~kitten~

Loved it - have it in the viddy archives. Strangely, I think you have to be a man to really enjoy it to the fullest: there comes this strange point at the film where the de-nard-ization threat gets you kind of rooting for the guy to get loose and clobber the crap out of the kid... and then you remember you're rooting for a child molester, and the ambivalence makes your cerebellum do the cha-cha.

I thought the movie was terrible bad plot, bad actors but the guy deserved all he got.

i thought the movie was good ..hey ladys is it really that easy to cut off a guys balls ?[:)] when she threw them in the garbage disposal thats kinda when i grimaced ..ok when she cut them off to ..major squirm [:)] just think later inlife if she ever got married and you pissed her off ..all of her exs would probable be ball less ..that really is taking cbt to the ultimate surrender ..mal
