Down to my Knees
I'm deep in a rapture, ecstatic love bliss.
No regrets, no worries, no lies.
Each revision of position brings me down to my knees
and with unspoken oaths, angels fly.
I'm farther in abyss of joyful release
than a word could ever put down.
Every stroke, every kiss, every cosmic embrace
sends my soul in a spiral and I drown.
I'm pressed to the bed, and when I cry out
from the place where a lone angel sings
each thrust, each collision of flesh with hot flesh
mends further my heart-broken wings.
