      If this is 4 of 4 though, where was Ozzy???  It seems his solo years with Randy Rhodes should be worth a mention (especially considering Ratt got in [:'(] )

Yeah....... but he was in the 70s one with Sabbath. I'm trying to not have anyone repeat; otherwise, I'd have had each of the Beatles solo work put on, etc. It isn't that Ozzy or Lennon or whoever isn't worthy, I just had to draw the line somewhere.

Great example! Clapton has tons of brilliant solo work (not to mention his time with Derek and the Dominoes).
 
Ratt is underrated [X(] They put out some crunchy stuff.
 
And the fact that when me and my bud Jimmy had "You're In Love" cranked up, in his black Z-28, with the tops off, didn't hurt with the young ladies, well, that's not such a bad thing, either. [sm=banana.gif]

I was putting one of the 80s ones together this morn, had 16 of the 20 links cut and pasted, and.......... my pc ate the son of a bitch. I'm laughing now....... but at the time.......

Maiden. At least there still capeable of making a good album (even if they never come to cleveland on tour!)

EDIT: What the hell? Youve got metallica (who shouldent have survived the 80s in my opinion), but no megadeth? no slayer? anthrax? Motorhead? More than half these bands SUCK!

Though I was suprised not to have seen Quiet riot For those about to rock anywhere

I actually went with Billy this time around. Perhaps more would have as well had you used Rebel Yell. So BDSMy, then again alot of his songs were/are.

You know which one I wanted to use? "Cradle of Love"..... but it came out in 1990, so, I didn't. Rebel Yell is a great song, too.

Oh come on now... Springsteen is 80s and Van Halen is 60s/70s?   

Bruce broke big at the beginning of the 70s, VH in the last months of it.
