What's the matter with you, don't you support "multi-culturalism?"
That's the way they do things in their country.

Come on Popeye - as you well know, this has nothing to do with "multiculturism" in civilised countries. It is about the savagery of a dictatorial regime intimately linked to the present USA regime. It is just that their attrocities are permissible while those of Iraq required immediate military interevntion.

This kind if sentence is not supported by Sharia law - it is just an excuse for legal perversity. And yes, rotting balls is an appropriate sanction for the perpetrators all - rapists, lawyers and judges.

I actually do support multi-culturalism, I was raised around many religions, jewish catholic, hindu, muslim, buddhists and protestants of all kinds (one grandfather was plymouth bretheren(theres a scary bunch)), ..... and have had friends from many different cultures/countries and I get a kick out of the differences as well as the similarities. Im not a big fan of fundamentalists or fanatics of ANY kind but I tend to take people  on a person by person basis and not tar all with the same brush. I even know some nice french people

But this just caught me wrong.... as a woman and as a humanist...........18 year old girl, raped 14 times, by 7 armed men, sentenced to 90 lashes, then having it more than doubled to 200 lashes for appealing it, and 6 months in jail. Other news reports have stated that even some Saudi's are shocked.  The men who did the crime, were sentenced to between 2 and 9 years.... suprises me  less because rape is sposed to be a beheading offence. Yes I hope their balls turn square and fester..... Yes I feel for the victim, no matter what the circumstances in this case. no matter where she is

Zensee, this is one reason that I am for *EXTREMELY limited* immigration to the U.S.
I don't want people like that in my country.
What you guys do up in Canada is none of my business of course.
There's all kinds of "human rights" violations all over the world.
And, for some reason, they all think that we here in the U.S. need to "hear" about them? I wonder why?
"Intimately linked?"
We do business with Saudi-Arabia. Oil business.
That doesn't give us the right to interfere in their internal affairs nor they in ours.
When they run out of oil we won't be having any business with them.
I don't support being in Iraq either so if you're trying to draw a parallell it doesn't work for me. You'll have to talk to Mr. Bush about that.
After Iraq is done I think the American People are going to be hungry for a very long period of non-intervention and non-interferance like we should have been doing all along.
Besides that the world hates the U.S. so that's a very good reason to mind our own business!
