Don't take to heart an insinuation that you are something less than submissive because you have expectations for your Dominant to stand behind his word. Don't buy into that because...well quite frankly...it's a load of crap. People without expectations are not submissives, they are doormats. I guess that is what some here must see as a valuable trait. You need to communicate to your Dominant how this made you feel. There are a lot of things that a submissive could do that would be considered topping from the bottom....expecting your Dominant to be who he says he is, is not one of them.

I think that you should continue to post whenever you feel the need. Just bear in mind that this is a public forum and there are alot of different view points out here and most likely you are going to hear from a diverse group. I agree with Mistoferin. Just because your a sub/slave, doesn't mean you don't have a say in your welfair, or have someone to keep to their word. Please do keep posting, I would like to keep hearing from you.

If there's one thing I've learned in my travels within various subcultures, it's this: ask ten different members what it's all about and you'll get twelve different answers. Others have already given lengthy and thoughtful responses, so I'll just say... you can generally figure out where your own head's at just by listening to what resonates from the varying responses, and that's a wonderful thing. So relax, it's all good feedback either way.

Thank you all so much! It really did help to talk things out, just to feel that again there is nothing wrong with me. i think that when someone finally comes to the realization that this lifestyle is where you belong you end up questioning yourself and feeling there must be something wrong with you if you are submissive. There isn't anything wrong it's just who i am, just as there isn't anything wrong with what i was feeling...it's just who i am. You were all very helpful. The issue has been solved and after discussing things with the Dom it was mutually agreed that W/we were incompatible.
i will keep posting and i'm sorry for snapping but i was going through an issue and well...i am a woman after all lol.

Interesting problem - I think this starts to fall into the heading of sub wants stricter protocol than Master wishes to apply... I am not that surprised by the ultimate outcome.

I have never been that wild about ultra-strict protocol - I like my subs to have a fair latitude of free behavior outside of a play session, and having her kneel, silent while i read the paper seems kinda dumb, unless... well, I can think of a few subs/slaves that would be appropriate for...

I have been very strict if a sub lets my cock out of her mouth after being told to keep it there, whether she's coming or not, but threatening to punish & not doing it, when expected on next meeting? Kinda wimpy...

In a public forum such as this, there will be people coming from all kinds of different experiences, emotions, attitudes and values. People who post here can't be responsible for such a vast audience - its too big an undertaking.

I hope you post again. I think your concern is very reasonable, and to be in your situation would have had me wondering WTF as well. So thanks for asking your question. I have enjoyed the responses that people have posted.
