I am sitting here eating some banana nut bread that my Owner sent back with me to campus after my stay over the weekend. I helped* make it and it turned out to be absolutely delicious. I'm in heaven. I"m such a lucky pet. :-)

There's another Domme I'm friends with who does something similar...even though she likes to remain a comfortable amount of distance with her pets... Which is signifigantly different from how my Owner and I relate. Anyways, despite this, she's been known to send her pets home with food and everything else.

So, this just gave me a question to ask... Do you send your pet home with treats** or something of the like every so often? If your pet lives with you, do you surprise him or her with something similar every so often? If so, please feel free to share what.

I love to cook so I do make dinner every night. When my submissive makes me extremely happy I often cook something that he loves that I wouldn't normally make. Before we lived together I would make meals for the week for him so I could control what he was eating when he wasn't with me.

Besides food, I often reward him with little things to show my appreciation. For example, this Saturday night we had a pretty extreme scene...and he did wonderful. Usually on Sunday a.m. he is to get up prior to me, make coffee and/or breakfast and serve it to me in bed. Yesterday I woke up early, turned off his alarm and let him sleep in. He also has a pantyhose fetish so every once in awhile I will pick him up a pair or two for him and leave him on his pillow.

I don't yet have a pet to feed *g* but I think this is a lovely idea. I think it would help to bridge the emotional transition between your time together and your time back at home.

im a sub and my M'lady works a rotating schedule so she isnt always able to cook, i love to cook. i just recently made some pumpkin pancakes for her she loved them. M'Lady dosent send food treats, she send me e-mails and hugs, the reward of her smile is the best thing to me.

I get treats all the time..though I'm not a pet. It means MsK thought of me during the day and brought something special home for me. And that I've been good enough to get it of course!

That he did. Even mashed the pumpkin himself. It's one of his things about trying to subtlely get Me to eat healthier. If the things come out that good, he'll most likely succeed.

I did, however, cook Sunday night..... Lasagne. Of couse, W/we differed a bit on whether it should be eggplant or meat. The meat won. <Laughs>

I don't send him back with things too often, but I do other things to let him know how important he is in My life. My house is now filled with fruit, because he enjoys it so much. I have a stash of his favorite candy on hand. (That was a tough one, since I had never heard of it before. Thought I was going to have to make it Myself.) When he sits at My feet, I am constantly stroking his hair or giving him a quick squeeze. I remember to tell him how proud I am of him, and thank him for the smiles he brings to My face. It may not seem like much, but when I look in My boy's eyes when he's looking up at Me, I know I'm doing something right.

I truly hate preparing food, but I am good about buying stuff, and certainly sharing whatever I have. What Italian gal isn't all about feeding the family?

There must be something maternal and protective about "feeding" someone - especially someone you are torturing for your own erotic pleasure and amusement. I'm married now, so my live-at-home boytoy is able to indulge around home in many ways and I gift him regularly to remind him that he's valuable to me. I have never enjoyed cooking or baking, so I never was one to have submissives leave with food in tow, but I always liked to take them out to eat - that was a favorite way to spoil them.

For long distance/phone partners, that's a different story. I like to always sprinkle a little vanilla affection into new relationships so a man doesn't feel like a slab of meat. I recently sent a new boytoy of mine a box with a few toys I wanted him to use on webcam/phone with me, and in addition to the restraints I sent and panties designed for humiliation, I sent him some nice candy from a local vendor here. It's just to lighten the mood, of course....(grin). I do love sending candy!

Oooooh, I just thought of the last time I visited my friend in NYC. She doesn't cook much either, but She always orders from this Thai place down the street that I just love, and it's a nice little treat on top of getting to spend time with Her when I swing by.

I always cook for my loves.. when my girl was 160 miles from me and waiting to move up to be with me again I would travel down on the weekends and cook a lot. She missed me and my food so much so it made it extra special. So hard to leave her standing there too each week. Now she is here of course I still feed her. She is stay at home wifiepoo till a job kicks in ( I am loving that!) So we feed eachother.

For our 6 year anniversary on Sunday I made a big assed Turkey... ( it is what she wanted.. who am I to argrue? )

as for my other honey he comes over and putters about the house and I cook for him or my girl does. We feed everyone. ( including the 100+ folks at church.) You feed those you love. Tis simple as that.

He eats everything in sight when he is here so there is no take homes. LOL I have no idea where such a skinny man puts it.

I make special things for my loves besides food. I recently got a hair cut, and had about 14 inches taken off to give me bangs... I braided some of my hair and scented in with my perfume I make for myself for my love. It makes a lovely bookmark and it is a piece of me that they have to cherish. Small little tokens by my hands. When my girl was still in Naples I would hide little love notes and I miss you notes in her things and all over her room before I would leave each Sunday. It was so cute when she would call me giggling and sighing about it. *smiles*

Nothing is trivial... it is the small tokens of love that helps get us through the hard times.
