Do You feel that a male sub is easier or harder to train than a female sub? Or are they the same? Thanks.

I really doubt that gender makes a difference. My opinion is that people are different and one male sub may be easier to train than a female sub while another female sub may be easier to train than a male sub.

In my experience of training both men and women I cannot say that their gender orientation or their biological sex had any role in how determined and desirous they were of training.

The most important factors were:

1. Real desire to learn about themselves
2. Time management skills.
3. Ability to get their own lives under control.
4. Motivation.

The only difference I found was when training to do manicures and things like that. The women that I played with kind of already knew the basics so that was easier.  Other than that no I never noticed a difference.

The major differences I have found when training the different genders was gauging their reactions. The boys I have worked with are far easier to read, where as the girls would occasionally react the way they thought I wanted them to. And as canupleaseme said, there are certain things the girls already knew the general ideas of, where the boys had to learn.

I find, though, that in my personal experience, the girls tended to think of themselves as more entitled to the treatment they got than the boys did. It might just be a phenomenon with the girls I have trained, but they reached a comfort level and then took their positions for granted at some point. That point takes the boys a far longer time to get to, and some of them never reached it.

I agree, it has to do with the person, rather than the gender.  The hardest thing to get over is a person's preconceived notions of what the scene, play, and submission are like.

IamJustMe2C -> RE: Training (11/20/2007 2:45:43 PM)

There is no differance when it comes to hight weight sexuality or anything else gender included. The differance only comes in the mind. The mind set of the person makes the world of differance.

I enjoy training both genders, and even ones inbetween. I'd rather train someone who is confident that they can succeed in their tasks, and wish to better themselves.
My only issue is that I believe that all women are Goddesses or Goddesses in training ... so I don't see myself sending my pet (who is a girl) out to dig up a tree stump, or doing anything that might require extreme amount of strength... not unless I got her to tone up, then maybe I'd do it. lol

But couldn't it be interesting to start such a teaching from scratch, so You are sure that the things will be donne exactly the way You like ?

It's like comparing apples to oranges.  It all depends on the subby's willingness to submit and learn.

Leatherzak yeah its interesting I'm currently teaching my boy . I guess being a trained beauty therapist my standards can be high lol and I like a good job done, I often found in the past that women seemed to know it a bit better thats all [:)]

Same.  It still just comes down to individual personality, willingness, etc.
