IT sounds like you don't have a hungry cat or their tastes are more high tone.

I'm thankful that this morning, despite not having a cup of coffee yet, I was able to come up with a very plausible excuse as to why the tooth fairy didn't come last night. I told my son that since his tooth came out just before bedtime, I had to call the tooth fairy hotline and the dispatcher must not have been able to get the message to the tooth fairy that works this region. Our tooth fairy is a dude, by the way.

I'll be thankful once the holidays are over.  Sometimes it's just too much and the season turns normally nice people into holiday nazis!

I am thankful for quite a bit this year.
Fox and Angel, for one.  They are the only ones that make life worth living some days.
My Brother, Mat.  He picks up on the days Fox and Angel let slide. He is my best friend and he is finally happy with his life and in good health.
My job, and friends
My new functional car
My own health, spotty as it might be

I'm really truly thankful I'm only 48. because 88 is much tougher. So Im thankful for everyday I can still drive, still take a hearty hike even if just around a grocery store and Im thankful thankful thankful, that I can still think straight. We take our lucidity for granted. And no more will I do that.

So lets raise our glasses to us! We can still type on the keyboard and make our voices heard and understood!

Every Thanksgiving my Dad would have us go around the table and say what we're thankful for.  In his absence, we'll do the same this year as well.

It has been an amazing year for me.  In a year where I lost everything I held valuable (4 family members including my Dad, filed for divorce, lost my house and everything in it, including everything I've owned since I was a child, my health, my money and my job), I have gained so much.

I thank my Master, who guided me through it and helped me to see what is really valuable.  I thank my family, who welcomed me back into their lives, particularly my mother and brother, who have been there every step of the way.  I am thankful for the incredibly amazing friends in my life, whose love and laughter have carried me through the valleys I couldn't get through myself.  I thank myself (!) for being determined to push through without bitterness, and I thank the divinity that resides within me.

Life is good.  :)
