A lot of things this year.Having a solid roof over my head.Getting a bit closer to my parents, a long hard battle lol.Being good friends with my ex husband. The everlasting love from my dog.My health, in general it is awful but it could be much worse. My dom, for loving me. And I am thankful for the potential that the future holds. That said, I am kinda bummed out that I'm spending the day alone doing nothing. I'm thinking of finding a place to go volunteer for the day so that I don't dwell on my turkeyless status lol.

Of course, the normal things........

A job, though sometimes I hate it.

A house, though sometimes, I have to clean it.

All the comforts of life; electric, phone, computer, though I pay the bills for it.

Pleanty of food and proper care.  (You don't have thighs like Mine when you're starving.)

Joking aside, I have a wonderful husband, two um's, and one grand um, who is the light of My life.  Also, this Thanksgiving, I have a collared submissive, who brings smiles to Me each day.  Due to work, I'm not even the one cooking this year.  All of those mentioned above are going to spoil Me by taking care of it all.  (Except the grand um, who's job it is to keep Me company while the others work.)

Life is good.  I have everything I need, and probably more good than I deserve.

#1. Propane. (I ran out earlier this week, the gas company somehow missed me for the refill... amazing how cold you get, how hard it is to make a meal, or take a shower with no hot water without it.)

#2. Electricity. (losing the propane has made me hyper aware of all the convieninces that power gives us.)

#3. Roof. (It was raining earlier this week, while the heat was off, and again, I was suddenly aware of how good I had it.)

#4. Wife/sub. (My only soucrce of heat for two days... LOL)

#5. Elections. (Only a year left before we oust the jerk, and his minions,  and begin to set this country back on it's tracks again. The Bush administration hasn't been so much an excersise in good government, as a drunken frat party for the uber rich.)

My family, including my UM, are all happy and healthy.  i have enough resources to meet my needs.  My F/friends just rock.  i love my townhouse.  My parakeets are doing well.  i'm starting to sleep again.  And that's just off the top of my head.

My kids, family and job.  Also, this year is very exciting as I am cooking Thanksgiving dinner for the first time in our new place.  (In March we went from 3 of us living in less than 850 square feet to almost 2,000).  As selfish and egocentric this as this may sound, i worked very hard to get to where we are now, so i am  also thankful for my own good health and energy.

I have a bunch of things to be grateful for...

As always I am thankful for my health and my family...

I am also very thankful that my Daddy is back in my life.

Life, and everything that comes with it. More than anything, I'm grateful for the joy of living with Otis, Daisy, Molly, Alphie, Chloe, and Emma...my crazed cat family...and having a great place for us to live. Things couldn't be much better, actually, but they definitely could be alot worse.

Edited to add that I am even kinda grateful for the fucking mouse that occasionally appears in my kitchen. Six cats...mouse in the kitchen...what's wrong with this picture?

let's see what i am thankful for?

well it's fairly simple for me to say.

1. not being homeless
2.my Lord and His wife bringing me into their home and lives
3.for all the things i am learing from my Lord and His wife and all the things i continue to learn from them.
4. a place i can permantely call home and knowing that i am always safe here.
5. i can trust again

Im talking with Jenny. I am trying to talk her into spending the dinner with me. She had plans but- not confirmed. I said she could come down- Ill cook slice of ham...or if she doesnt want to drive the 10 miles-Ild come to her place. The rain wont interfere-with a short trip== tho not cross country.

Heather if from California- and Jenn welcomed her---

She has a 16 year old in and out of jevenile detention- so the 16 year old -I doubt can be left alone.
