Hi to all you message board reading/writing people.  I am fairly new to the site  and lifestyle,  and really new to this forum. I've read quite a few posts in here and find most of them to be a somewhat decent source for me to get  input on some questions I have regarding the lifestyle.  I check it out daily as I have no one locally to turn to for advice, so thanks to y'all who contribute here.  I have yet to post anything until now, as i am on the shy side and was afraid i would only sound stupid especially being unfamiliar w the 'language'.    Here  goes, going to  take the  'stupid"  risk .   Ok, first off my name is taurus and I am a (new)female submissive in search of a female Dominant.    Yes,  you will notice my profile/pics are de- activated, i recently  turned it off.  Lets just say i've gotten frustrated w/ the lack of serious responses so i needed to turn it off for awhile.  My reason for posting this is,  I wanted to share with y'all that i find the language and mindset, or perhaps  it's the writing style, within  this community of people (on this site)to be  quite refreshing, in the manner that most of you seem to be deep thinkers,  and i find the  posts are psychologically stimulating for the most part--  the  sense of humor is  even intelligent----okay well, some  of it is lol.  Is it  just me?  because i am new?  and that i crave experience and want to learn all  that i can? or is the level of intelligence and writing skills higher than it is among people in the vanilla world?   Anyway  either way i wanted to come in and say 'thank you'".  I enjoy reading in here.  My mind  has always loved to be fed and lately, it's  been  extremely hungry.

Hi taurus and welcome to the forum.
I don't believe it's just because you are new.  The people here are - in general - pretty cool at conversing and have good ideas and the mods do tend to rock on the moderation of threads which helps.  Like anywhere, it goes through high stages and low - and people take breaks now and then.

So feel shy, but not many bite... (with the exception of DV)

Thank you for the welcome  Darcyandthedark.  I have re- activated my profile again.  For now.

I believe i have found an answer to my own question  --

I see this lifestyle is of a passionate nature, embracing a  great pride, deep pleasure, and extreme interactions, therefore the words and thoughts describing a feeling or experience will reflect those passions in ways not found in a vanilla  relationship.  (I look forward to the time where i find that  true passion, and  the pride of serving One, and the close bond i have thus far only read about.)

Good morning taurus,

First of all, Welcome to the forums, I hope you enjoy your stay.
As to your comment on the literate nature of the posters, I would think it is due in part for a need to be clear and defined in the issue you are pressing.
We are a combination of different ideas, philosophies and lifestyles, and at times it can be very important to make sure we're getting the point we intended across, not any others.

Again, Welcome.

Thanks for the welcome Russ and CP and Qithoris, I have been out  of town for a week and just returned, which explains my late response. Thanks for the comments.
