Back to the real issue here, banana slugs... But before I start bragging, is it only in Northern California that 6th graders go kissing as many banana slugs as they can in science camp? Anyone know what I'm talking about????? And Yay! Go UCSC slugs!!!! Though I always cheer for Charlotte's ass, it really doesn't matter what it is sporting.

Yes, Baroque, the banana slug is the mascot for the tree-hugging Northern California university UC Santa Cruz! http://www.slugweb.com/history.html http://www.goslugs.com/ And since at least someone was at least curious (thanks BSB), it is a tradition at the science camp in Northern California (mandatory 6th grade learning experience) in the redwood forrest, for the girls to kiss the banana slugs. I guess it was a good year when I was there, they were everywhere! I kissed 36 of em in one week [sm=banana.gif]
