How much do Masters know about transgender subs/slave or transgender people in general; from birth to adult-hood? Many Masters reject it without knowing much about it as well as seek it without knowing much about it.

I don't know alot about the subject, and to be honest, I'm not particularly interested in it.

How much candy can you fit into a Halloween pumpkin?

FRSguy -> RE: How much do Masters know? (11/20/2007 12:23:35 PM)

I know a fair amount about it considering its not really a topic of interest for me.  I would think there would be way too many issues the first one being that I am not into transgenders.

Like anything else in the world. It would depend completely and totally on the individual.

Kinda like asking how many Master's know how to bake a souffle?

Please say you are mocking! I make an excellent chocolate souffle using a half-bitter chocolate used for chocolate fondues...

Unfortunately often times knowlege doesn't change the fact that someone's not interested in something.  There are many things I don't have alot of knowlege about and have no interest in that I'm certain having more knowlege about won't change my lack of interest.

DiurnalVampire -> RE: How much do Masters know? (11/20/2007 1:00:47 PM)

Most masters do not know much about the transgendered community simply becasue there is no allure to it for them.  If they want to learn, and they have an interest, then there is nothing stopping them from doing so.
How many masters know much about raising animals, if they have no interest in ever doing so?
Fixing cars if they never plan on trying?

Mistresses too, for that matter.  Most people do not spend time learning about topics that hold no interest for them.

can i come visit?? hehehe

No I'm saying, it's a question that the general population can't answer because how the hell is anyone supposed to know what all Master's do or do not know?

Stephann -> RE: How much do Masters know? (11/20/2007 1:18:58 PM)

Please understand this topic is entirely my own opinion, and not intended to be passing judgement.

I find men far less tolerant of any form of gender bending on either side of the pride flag.  I've had several gay friends, and by and large the attitude I got from them was "I'm a man, and I can't imagine why I'd want anything to do with a woman (nevermind be one!)"  Men like and expect other men to be up front and straight (no pun intended) about who and how they are.  Bisexual men often come across as either sexual gluttons or confused.  Transgendered men are often seen as simply being confused or emotionally damaged.

The BDSM community seems to reflect this view, though with a greater degree of acceptance than the general population at large.  This doesn't suggest uniform kink-lifestylers awareness or acceptance; frankly, I've only seen a very tiny handful of actual transgendereds participating in the BDSM community.

My master knows a lot about transgender slaves.  She owns one - me.

YourhandMyAss -> RE: How much do Masters know? (11/20/2007 2:11:23 PM)

And in certain cases more knowledge can actually run you the other way, say like in scat play, knowing all the icky things that could happen cause of it, would make me run farther than if I didn't know and just thought it icky.

Some know a lot, some know nothing. Just depends on which master  you are talking about.

I can only speak about TG from the vanilla side. I made strictly vanilla love with a M2F post-op about 8 years ago. She also had had electrolysis, and her skin was soft and translucent. Beyond some minor difference (IIRC) in feeling, the sex was the same as with a natural-born woman.

If someone is post-op, I wouldn't think there'd be any difference taking her as a sub. Just my .02 zlotys. Your milage may vary.

I know a lot, but I also know that they usually have enough on their plate and a lot more going on than I want to or am capable of handling.

MrSpectacular -> RE: How much do Masters know? (11/20/2007 9:25:39 PM)

How long is a piece of string - I know a few transgenders - in my opinion they have a particularly hard time. Not only do the ones looking for a D/S relationship have a difficult time connecting - the stigma they currently have in todays society can be fairly painful.

Qithoras -> RE: How much do Masters know? (11/20/2007 9:48:55 PM)

As has been said already, it's a question of interest, not necessarily one of rejection.

I myself have a great interest in philosophy, but no interest what-so-ever in gardening (I mow the lawn, that's about it)

However, if I came across a tidbit of information that made me curious, I'd start looking into it.

The same goes for learning about TG people. I have no direct need or interest to learn about them at this present time, it's not a rejection of knowledge as it is a prioritization of learning.

Hope this helped.

I guess I'd have to know one personally to make any comments that meant a rat's ass.

While your reply was directed to someone else you answered my question. Thank you

My heart goes out to transgendered people... i dont understand, nope not even a little bit what it would be like to want to be transgendered.  But misunderstood, maligned, hurt, hopeful, joyous... all those are part of who we all are, that is the place to meet each other.  i know it can be lonely (i have dated, lived with, and been friends with quite a few TG people)... but some  people just aren't interested.... It is really helpful when someone lets you know they aren't interested...  i have found that people are a loooooot more honest about not being into this particular group of people rather than other groups - age, race, size, whatever and that at least is clarity....

i wish You great love and luck and acceptance... and lots of nuaghty experiences.
*smiles
