Attitudes? No one fails to understand anything. This, being an online medium where the written word is the only thing one can perceive, then intent needs to be carefully weaved into the words so that the poster gets the results they hoped for.

I don't know about you, but I go by the initial words that someone writes and discern whatever intent seems apparent from that first communication. If I misunderstood, they can clarify later, as the OP did.

And again, this being online, you can expect a variance of responses to all questions, that is to be expected.

I'm not offended and I would hazzard a guess that the others aren't either, although I cannot speak for them, only offer my opinion. Really, you simply don't have that ability - just as I don't have the ability to make you 'feel bad'. You make that occur and are responsible how someone makes you feel.

The BDSM aren't a 'crew'. I'm not your fellow subbie. There are your assumed relationships right there. You demanded a list and waited.

I think I have read Angela Knight before, she is an excellent author. I love the whole paranormal thing, I have a TON of books filed under my "paranormal romance" section.

It was very helpful, thanks for your suggestions, I am now off to bookmooch to see if I can mooch some of those authors' books!

I usually ignore ignorant people but I think they are confused as to what exactly I was asking. I DID word it in a way that could be confusing to some but I'm glad you understood what I was asking! Thank you again so much, I can't wait to look up those other authors.

I'm so glad that you are not offended. I did say that I shouldn't have worded my OP as I did. It is because you do not know me that you do not understand my sense of humor, so I will not hold that against you!

Oh, trust, I never assumed you were my "fellow" subbie. If I wanted to be friends with you, I'm sure we'd already be buddy-buddy.

You know reading this thread takes me back to my early days of teaching TEFL English to a classroom of different foreign students from all over the world - Japan, Korea, Poland, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Senegal, etc.

We'd start a discussion on families, or fishing, and ten minutes later some sort of argument would break out because Kim Long Wick from Korea misunderstood what Carlos from Spain said and Hilda from Austria got upset because she felt they were all making indirect references to her.

Reading parts of this thread made me feel like I was in a room full of Americans. I understand the words and know what they mean, but I can't quite get the gist of what they're actually talking about.
