That some goodness exists in this world.

MissSCD -> RE: What are you thankful for? (11/21/2007 8:30:51 PM)

My family.
My friends.
My 94 year old grandmother.
My 75 year old mother.
My fiance.
My job and work family.
My country and my faith.
And the main thing I am thankful for this year, is my health is improving. I was not able to work last year.

Regards, Happy Thanksgiving

MissSCD/sbrian

I am thankful for:
> Not being an idiot, like most of the world.
> I get some days off from, work and school.
> Intelligent people.
> FireFox and Trillian being created.
> Giant turkeys being cooked and eaten, for Thanksgiving.

velvetears -> RE: What are you thankful for? (11/21/2007 11:11:36 PM)

For my sweet girls and the joy they bring me.

NaiveTempest -> RE: What are you thankful for? (11/21/2007 11:35:15 PM)

- For my two little blessings that give me both stress and joy every day;
- For friends and family to lean on and to be there for when they need to lean;
- For what I have managed to accrue today, since it may be gone tomorrow;
- For life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for how ever long I'm blessed with it;
- For the lessons of the past, the understanding of today, and the potential of the future; and finally
- For love and in its many forms

And another thing:

-- laughter
-- rotary phones
-- CM threads that expose me to different perspectives
-- needlepoint
-- Shakespeare
-- the White House
-- flowers

For the love of my family; the support of my friends; and the blessing of knowing each and every one of them.

Laughter, the touch of another human being, love, books, and having a decent life.

1. My totally awesome, one-of-a-kind, loving, SEXY, sweet, kind, makes-me-cry-tears-of-joy-everyday, Dom Husband.

2. My parents AND my totally awesome, sweet, one-of-a-kind, loving, thoughtful and caring, can't-get-no-sweeter, Mother-In-Law, who by the way, once enlightened me on why I have the PERFECT husband.  She told me one day, "I didn't raise my sons to be men....I raised them to be Husbands."  (Well, Mimi, you did one hellofa perfect job!)

3.  My health and the two BEST female bosses in the world!

4.  My job (Certified Group Fitness Instructor) because I have so much fun at work, I feel guilty getting paid.  Where else does one get a room full of beautiful women ready and willing to do EVERYTHING you tell them to do?

5.  This free forum, even if it does take for fucking ever dragging it's ass putting up my new pictures!  *mutter*

6.  And so much more, BUT I need to get ready for work, because I'm teaching a 90 minute aerobic and weight lifting class this morning.....*haha*  (I wonder if I'll be the only turkey there)

Have great holiday, everyone!
*kisses*

-- My mother, for raising me to be ridiculously amazing (and almost just as crazy)
-- Opportunities so bountiful and frequent that they're like leaves floating in the wind waiting to be picked out of the air.
-- The fact that I'm breathing and that I woke up today.
-- My intellect, intuition, and curiosity.
-- A heart that still beats despite...

kyraofMists -> RE: What are you thankful for? (11/22/2007 5:00:42 PM)

The biggest thing that we are thankful for this year, is that we received notice that I have been approved for permanent residency in Canada.  The long distance is almost at an end.
