Is it just me or does anyone else find a muscular mistress all the more physically intimidating and for that matter appealing. I find that it adds greatly to the reality of the session. I have found that a more physically intimidating mistress has a certain swagger and aura of confidence. I truly enjoy the feeling of being overpowered and physically dominated. I would like to hear from both mistresses and subs of their experiences regarding this topic. Happy Thanksgiving

I'm not really interested in a muscular mistress, but I see where you are coming from. For as far back as I can remember, I've always had a preference for plus-sized amazons. I'm only 5'5" and 150 pounds, but I am very athletic and an occasional boxer. I really like feeling like the amazon domme could physically take me whenever she'd want and I couldn't fight her off if I wanted to. It really adds to the scene when we played. As much as I like amazons, I actually prefer a plus-sized lady more. Mistress may not be an amazon, but She still rules over me like no one ever could. She is intelligent, creative, beautiful, curvaceous, and dominant beyond my wildest dreams. She manages to control me from a thousand miles away and She doesn't need muscles to do that. She controls me down to my very soul.

My ex-girlfriend was in ROTC, the daughter of a personal trainer, and a rugby player. She had a mean right hook, and gods could she take a punch too! It's not something that'll "make or break" for me, but I certainly do like the idea of a fit, muscular Domme. If we wrestle, I don't necessarily have to throw the match. ;)

As an ex competing weightlifter, I quite enjoy the surprize that a sub has when I have him in a grip that is far stronger then he ever anticipated. The look in his eyes of shock and total fear is entoxicating. For myself I quite enjoy having physical power of the male submissive, it's an indiscribable rush. Again, as always, it's not everyones cup of tea, but for those that are of simular mind it is fantastic :) Cat

However, for me the Domina's mind is what overpowers me. Once her mind has captured my imagination, she really hasn't any need or use for muscle. A certain look in her eye will be all she needs.

Happy Thanksgiving For me, it's all mental and about perceptions. At a bit over 6'2", a buffed out Domme isn't likely to make me feel intimidated physically. Now having a mental and emotional connection with her combined with one of her confident/bright/wicked/about-to-have-fun-sadistic-smiles, a certain facial expression, or that special look with a twinkle in her eye, one of several various body postures with her own Dominant "I mean business" attitude or that one that says "You're MINE!", is an entirely different matter for me! Pixel I believe you are missing the point. I think James is saying that he sees physical strength as bestowing a different type of confidence in a woman that he finds appealing. I must say myself that I am attracted to the mental attitude more than anything as you stated Pixel although in Aerith's case there is a certain flare that is caused by her ability to overpower me physically as well. Edit: You do not have to be physically stronger than someone to overpower them.

I don't think I missed his point at all. I read it as a man who wants a woman capable of physically "forcing" him to submit to her, rather than giving her his submission on his own; two very different dynamics IMO. Otherwise, it would seem to me that he'd simply have a preference for women who were buffed out and wanted to dominate him, just as others prefer women who have certain physical characteristics or wear leather, etc. Since he didn't state it that way, to me, it sounds like the "forced bi" debate cloaked in a different robe called "I'll submit only to a woman who can overpower me" (as that's what makes it okay in my mind). But that's just my take on his post as to me it sounds very much more like fantasy/wanking material than real D/s life. But if he can find a Domme that's into that sort of thing, and it works for the two of them, great! To each their own. [:)] - pixel Collared to Majik

Please everyone, I am not here to spark debate or confrontation.............but to simply share my thoughts on what I enjoy and to see if other's share in this venue and would care to eloborate on their experiences or similar interests. I am not here to judge what other's may enjoy, but to simply share in open forum what I enjoy and if other's also have this interest. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and are ready for a wonderful holliday season.

Happy Thanksgiving By muscular, do you mean physically buff with huge muscles or simply well toned? I personally like a well-toned woman who carries herself with confidence and the certainty that comes with hard work to achieve what she has accomplished. A person who sets a goal like that and maintains it, has a certain mindset that is vastly appealing to my sense of awe for her. It is not so much her physical power that I look at, but the mental power and strength that she has gotten through achieving her goal of that. I hope that makes a bit of sense today.

I agree that the swagger and confidence that a woman gains from physical fitness is extremely attractive. I like the muscular dommes -- and here I mean fit and toned, not necessarily bodybuilders with huge muscles (although I like those, too!!). I am most into the SM side of things. A good level of fitness makes this much more enjoyable for both the top and the bottom. A fit body -- on either side of the whip -- means a scene can be more intense and last longer than otherwise. I work hard to stay fit; I like a top who does the same.

Agreed, who are some of the more muscular mistresses out there. I am particularly fond on Mistress Treasure, Mistress Jazzmon and Goddess Heather. Anyone else care to offer some names or first hand experiences?

Plenty of us share your interest, james. I believe that the attraction is threefold: (1) the strong, athletic body type can be very attractive and seductive on its own; (2) the sensation of actually being physically dominated by a woman, or at least knowing that it's possible, is exciting; and (3) the aura of confidence that she often holds as a result of her physical strength, is very conducive to D/s. A previous response stated that your OP "sounds very much more like fantasy/wanking material than real D/s life." It then hypocritically went on, "but if he can find a Domme that's into that sort of thing, and it works for the two of them, great! To each their own", as if throwing you that bone makes it okay to impugn your preference in the first place. He might has well have said, "Your preference is bogus, you're a fraud, but hey, if it works for you, that's fine". I applaud your restraint in not getting into a flame war, but that guy seems to be getting into a habit of saying things like this, and I don't think such affronts should go unanswered. I'm here to say that what you wrote is just as valid as his (completely boring, IMO) preferred style of D/s.
