You gambled, you lost. How much money was this ? Let me put this as simply as I can, take $200 down to the track. You always bet 1 and or 2, then you pick two longshots. Look at the board and when it is within a couple of minutes of post time, take those horses that have the dropping odds, because that is where the big money is going. And the big money stays big money by winning. The rest of the idiots playing trifectas and shit are the ones who supply that money. I have figured it out mathematically, you play four horses across the board. No more, no less. The stock market isn't much different. A friend who is dead now told me something a long time ago, I deem this to be correct. To play the stock market you really don't need to know which companies will succeed, you just need to know which companies OTHERS think will succeed. He was right. Actually before he died he bought me some penny stocks. But then I had loaned him part of the money to buy his first house. I could be a millionaire and not even know it. I doubt it, but it is possible. You should have kissed that money goodbye. It is gone. The stock could have turned to dust, as well as the fact that your "friend" might have scammed you. Take it as a lesson learned, and never forget. You might forgive, but you do not have to forget. It's all your perogative. Other than that, have fun. T
