I didnt see polyethyline but they have several other materials. one of those may fit the bill

yes that size works too.  been thinking of a couple of different things, like different sized bundles, and also want to try and make a tower of pain. (to $$ to buy.)  and a friend of mine gave me an idea for spreader bars.

United States Plastics has all sizes you may need.

You can get plastic mini-blind rods at most home centers.

yeah I thought about the mini blind rods in general, and about utilizing bamboo blinds. but for what I was thinking of those wouldn't work. Thank you though.
