Well, real and properly made ratatouille is yummy unless you have folks who hate tomatos and/or red peppers. Stuffed artichokes, also very good, a portabella mushroom gratin, layered cerlriac (celery root) and potato baked with cream and butter (very french), many different combos of braised veggies, roasted baby potatoes, carrots, onion, garlic bulb halves and lemon wedges, simply roasted or pan sauteed cherry tomatoes with garlic, basil and olive oil. I could probably go on all night!
