Yes, it's a necro thread, pay attention to the dates please. Anytime something is older than 3 months I'd say the conversation has moved on. As to the substance of your comment- have you noticed where you are posting? It's the message board of a computer site. A forum in other words. That means personal opinions, personal experience and not much in the way of scientific facts. If you're after scientific facts then do a scholarly article search in peer reviewed journals - this isn't the place for it and it's not billed to be anything else but what it is. This is where people give opinions. Why this amazes you and seems to disgust you I have no idea.
