Status: offline 		Some people read all the gorean stuff and think that "is" the end al of BDSM. It isn't.

I am a submissive male. I want to be a slave for a woman I love. I don't want to live out a fantasy where I have no rights as a human being. It may be different, but serve gorean stuff sounds like the slave comes somewhere after the house cat in the owners heart.

He (or she) doesn't. If you think you shouldn't "OK". If someone else tells you they found themselves as a gorean slave. OK. (They might say, "This one found itself serving my Mistress/Master":))

Let me explain submissiveness my way.

Many will explain that you are a worthless worm.

Yet, you will gladly suffer for her (or him). No one really enjoys what ever happens in a scene. (Any subs who throw themselves in front of trains can contradict me.:)) Without the Domina/Dom it is meaningless.

For her(or him) you will submit to whatever. (from spanking to water sports to full body immersion in lime jello:))

That does not sound like a worm to me. That sounds like John Wayne putting up with unpleasantness for "the little woman". (Please excuse the diminutive.) That it is not critical for her "need" but her "want" makes his sacrifice even bigger.

Many Domina/Dom's will settle for a worm. Do you think being John Wayne is better than being a worm? Would you submit to being tied up by someone who would prefer a worm to John Wayne?

Those questions may sound rhetorical, but they are not. Page upon page of personals for Dominas say she wants a worm. (Sorry ladies, I never look at Dom profiles.:)) Do not criticize a submissive who is in touch with his inner wormness:).

Status: offline 		Color me crazy (any subbies reading who disagree) but I would have to say I that I concur with you there.

I'm a natural sub, as Master and I have both decided. But I also deserve respect when it's not playtime, and my Master agrees.

Even though I exist only to serve Him, to please Him, He also says I have my limits, and as my Owner first, lover second, it's His job to push those limits. But He does this in a very respectful way.

I love my Master like I've loved no other, and He knows this, encourages this. And He's told me on many occasions our relationship would be pointless if I just gave Him my respect, and me His. I trusted Him enough to accept His collar, to give over to Him full control of my self.

He has no desire whatsoever to mistreat me, and when He does anything that's made me uncomfortable, or pushes far beyond my limitations, He apologizes profusely.

I definetly think I lucked-out in the Master category. Whether He is my friend and lover, or my Master, and I His lover/friend or slave, He treats me perfectly. The names and mistreatment, abuse and torture I receive during playtime are mutually fun for us both.

He makes sure I do not feel like a worm, like a non-entity. He respects and loves me, and we both enjoy the things He does to me. I would have to say with the colorful description you gave, I take it like a John Wayne. I'm no worm, for sure. My Master loves my sauciness, my smart comments most of the time.

If tying my arms above my head until my shoulders are numb and my fingertips tingle and flogging me until I'm in subspace and at His mercy is what makes Him happy, I do it. I'll take it, because I am His. I am here for Him, to serve his pleasure; Be it just talking to him because He's had a bad day, or enjoying his attentions, He needs me to make Him feel better, and so I am here.

My Lord would not have me submit my will to anyone besides him.  It is a gift that I give myself over to him as completely as I do.  I am his slave, and his slave alone.  If my will was given so freely to everyone around me, then, it would not be so special to him, or to me.  I consider what we have together to be an absolutely sacred bond - and never to be taken lightly.  My collaring was not a whim, but a committment, to his happiness and to mine.

The humiliation, degradation, the pain and the blood are all because it is what we enjoy together.  He tests my limits often, and as he does, I grow as a slave and a partner to him.  But when he beats me bloody, he is the one with the wet cloth and the antibacterial ointment caring and loving me for suffering for his love.  It is truly a beautiful thing.

So, OP, I believe people who enjoy being worms, to be considered less than human, or those who wish to live Gorean are no different really.  They just desire a different type of loving - even if it doesn't seem very loving to us on the outside.

To each his own.  May everyone find the deep peace and serenity that comes from serving and loving and living and suffering in a most exquisite way - no matter what that way may be.

Status: offline 		Not sure what "Gorean stuff" has to do with what you are talking about. A Gorean slave's value is whatever their owner determines it to be, just as with any similar relationship. You may have Gorean protocol involved, or the owner may believe in Gorean Philosophy. That is about the only two things that Gorean would have to do with it.

Status: offline 		If your not into the gorean lifestyle, then look for a Mistress or Master who is not into it. They are not better or worse than anyone else. Part of my leather family is Gorean and they don't treat their slaves as worms or substandard creatures. Everyone is different. I see sub profiles of people who refer to themselves as lowly worms or worse. If that is their kink and it makes them happy, then more power to them. I have never had a Mistess treat me like that, they treat me with respect and kindness.

a slave owned by a Gorean doesnt submit to everyone... she submits to the will of her owner... period.  if it is his, or her, wish that his, or her, slave submit to others on whatever level they decide (they being the owner) then that is what the slave is submitting too.

she obeys her Owner... in all things.  the Owner doesnt relinquish rights or give up any form of ownership to anyone else.  if a slave serves another gorean, its because her owner has commanded her to do so.

she does as she does to please the one who holds her collar.

It hasn't really helped me so much (outside of my lower teen years...) being straight and all, but it's been a good tip to pass on to the visiting batters:)
