A Dominant and her submissive are in the room, her on a chair and him kneeling at her feet.

Dominant: Have you thought what it is that you truly need and desire to learn during training?

submissive: yes Ma'am, i have thought long and hard over this.

Dominant: Long and hard? Since yesterday? Oh, please do tell.

submissive: yes Ma'am, i feel it would be best that i learned patience?

Dominant: Patience? Not pain tolerance, proper kneeling positions, how to prepare my favorite meal; none of these, but instead you want to be taught patience? Are you absolutely certain of this?

submissive: yes Ma'am, absolutely certain.

Dominant: Okay then, wait here.

Dominant walks out, nothing ensues. End scene.

I like it! I was trying to put the ol wisdom saying in my journel, but you've opened a new door!
