i am in the forum of ask a Master..... but i'll try to do better posing such a perplexing question. Why would a Dom or Domme suggest to a submissive... "Have you ever considered looking for a vanilla relationship and then turning it (the relationship) into the type of lifestyle that you would like it to be?" or "Maybe you should consider a vanilla relationship that you can turn towards this lifestyle." or even put another way "Just get with vanilla's and corrupt the hell out of them!". My question is better put as a 'Why' than a 'Have You Ever', thank you for pointing out how bad it was.....

I would think because its easier to hook up in the nilla world and many people are willing to try something different and if they like it.... here there may be a lot of people who never intend on meeting

Thank you very much, i have just been having a difficult time wrapping my brain around the concept. That is certainly an answer worth consideration. i have been thinking of it for a majority of the day and while posing the question in the Ask a Slave forum, another thought might also be that the Dom/me also might enjoy training two rather than just one..... i am still working it through, but still having a hard time with it. my problem is, i think i tend to overthink things that seem simple enough.

Once upon a time we were all vanilla. None of us were born flogger in hand. So you might consider finding someone of the right personality traits who simply hasn't had the opportunity to explore before. But I don't think talking honestly with a compatible person about what you like and discovering they have always had fantasies about it as 'corrupting a vanilla'.
