Interesting. As i read it, the AFL-CIO is in favor of a revised program and thus the delay necessary.

Also disturbing to hear the data at the Social Secuirty Administration is in such disarray that to implement the current proposed reg would result in the firing of many legal workers.

Does anything at the Federal Gov't actually work?

Lou Dobbs said tonight that the delay would give Bush's big business buddies another 4 1/2 months to ply their trade.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is why we have an illegal immigration problem in this country. It's because no politician wants to antagonize the corporations that benefit from it.
