We are attending our groups xmas party this weekend and have been asked to take something for the secret santa it must be under $10. I have no ideas besides pegs/clothespins and am wondering if anyone here has any ideas.

a crop or slapper from a feed and tack store here costs $5

Feathers. You can purchase some beautiful ones - and you could buy one with a pot of ink with body caligraphy in mind - but watch the ink - as some feather tips can be very sharp on skin and tear it - but feathers a good for both soft and scratch so please either those into sensation play or marking/scratching.

Go to an import shop and buy a Chinese caligraphy set, complete with ink pot and brush

A book on knots, especially one that shows how to whip the ends of rope along with thread and a heavy guage needle to do it with.

Rolls of "flat twine" which is a sort of saranwrap for packing things. It is great for mumification

I think they are ugly but wooden dowels and eye bolts make quick spreader bars

Candles for doing wax play

A set of shot glasses for doing fire cupping

Dye clothespins bright colors and string a few together to make a zipper

Check out used bookstores, I have bought lots of bdsm books quite cheaply that way

A small towel sized blanket, perfect for aftercare is a nice touch, I have a chenille one that I have used.

Scour antique stores for weird things, I have a pair of mother of pearl handled silver implements that I think were some sort of crab meat fork that make pretty and sadistic toys.

Go to a "bed and bath" type store and get a set of scrubbie gloves...OMG one of my favorite things to be pampered with.

Bottom line, be creative...

Crop, vet wrap from tack shop. Leather belt from thrift shop. Kitchen spoons/spatulas, wooden skewers from kitchen shop. Icy hot, cinnamin breath strips, tiger balm from drugstore. Rope from hardware store. Various clips from office supply store.

Adding: Pallet wrap!

Chop stick and little tiny rubber bands makes a good clamp.

wooden spoons from the dollar store

hair clips

a nice soft blanket for after care

a ruler / yard stick

i don't know if this is an appealing idea or not, but how about a cool box for storing toys. It is easy to find inexpensive tool boxes at hardware and home improvement stores that work great for storing toys but appear very vanilla.
