LittleWench -> Mantra (11/27/2007 2:52:23 PM)

Greetings all :)  This is my first post, so hi to everyone!  My Owner has set me a task.  He wishes me to write a mantra that I am to repeat at least once a day.  He suggested it should be something along the lines of:-

I am owned.  I am loved.  I am cherished.

You get the gist.... however I cant use that now because those are his words!  I could use some inspiration!  If you had been given such a task, what would you say?

My newest mantra is communication, communication, communication.

Kinda simplistic, but it's something that I am working on in my relationship.

Going to play with my crayons now,
kat

Have you been ordered not to use his words?

I see nothing wrong with the mantra he created for you unless he wants you to think of your own, and if you are supposed to think of your own, coming here and asking us for an affirmation really isn't probably what he had in mind for you to do.

If my Daddy created an affirmation for me I would find that very yummy

The words really need to come from your heart, and only you know what is in there.

My Master had tasked me with some sentences a long time ago, which he later wanted me to repeat to myself as a mantra.  I do so every night before going to bed, and it ends my day in a very peaceful headspace.  He was using it as a training tool at the time, but I have come to cherish those words and find them quite meditational and sacred.  They are his words that he gave me, but their meaning is no less because of it; in fact, it's even more.

I wasn't asking anyone to write it for me :)

I can often look at what another has written and pick up on a theme, tempo or style and adapt it to my own use with my own words.  I know what I feel, but he specifically asked for a mantra, not a poem, not a haiku, not a sonnet, but a mantra (when giving me the direction he said "you know what a mantra is right?").  I wasn't so much asking for what each of you might say in a mantra (so I could use your words) but how you might say it, so I could get ideas for structure.

Two words: iambic pentameter.  :)

Have fun!

"Master loves me, this I know
For he constantly tells   me so
Little one to Him belongs
I am sub and He is strong.
Yes,  Master loves me.
Yes,  Master loves me.
Yes,  Master loves me.
Coz He has told me so."

Yes,  I'm sleep  deprived.  g'night all.

My Master writes my mantras. I have had several but it is the first that remains locked in my memory and the one I pull out when we are scening and I need some focus and comfort. Plus, it keeps me from cussing him out when he is wailing on my backside. [;)]

The mantra is:
Joe loves his pita
Our love makes us strong
I will not fail.

Something simple maybe? "You command, i obey."

Maybe try a haiku form of mantra?

LittleWench -> RE: Mantra (11/27/2007 9:04:31 PM)

Came up with two, the first is more of a written mantra I guess but I thought it was a kinda cool twist on an old classic.  Mantra is power through sound, and I thought it fit.

MASTER
ASTERM
STERMA
TERMAS
ERMAST
RMASTE

I am owned I am love I am owned I am safe I am owned I am joy I am owned I am peace I am owned I am free.

Well now this has got me thinking, sitting here trying to think of one for myself. But it's bed time, so it's turning out to be something like this... [sm=idea.gif]

my mantra is more of a morning meditation on my slavery. i focus on my one purpose, to serve and obey Chairman, to demonstrate to Him in all i do and say that i am devoted to Him, that i adore Him and appreciate being owned by such a wonderful Master. It includes some of the spiritual principles i believe and how i can live them in my relationship to Master. i also keep myself mindful of some of the traps i can fall into in my thinking. Things like any expectations of Him, ideologies about the M/s dynamic, comparing us to others etc. Keeping these out of my thinking and feeling are critical to a humble and grateful attitude. i give some thought to if there's anything i can do to make His life more pleasant and easier without being controlling.

Master has yet to give His slave such a task...but in the spirit of helping out, if He did, this slave would keep it short, to the point and scour the dictionary for unusual yet very descriptive words that evoke, in this slave, feelings or states of being He wants this slave to focus on.
