Maybe im in the wrong spto, wasnt sure where to go...
Does anyone know what P I T A is?
No, not the bread!
i heard it in a conversation,
"well, its a good thing im not a PITA"
I did try to look itup and all I found was the bread...
For some reason I have the feeling he wasnt talking about
pain in the ass...

I think you may mean PETA? It is a group with a radical fringe, as with most groups, and is People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals. Was it said or spelled? Because if someone spelled out PITA then yup it is pain in the ass alright.
