A Federal Grand Jury is currently listening to evidence presented by both the Justice Department and State Department into the activities of the Blackwater guards on September shooting in Baghdads Nisoor Square. This includes testimony from those involved in a lawsuit.

Some interesting things are coming out. For example the use of steroids and other "judment-altering substance by Blackwater guard is as high as 25%. What seems to be most interesting is that the Guards who were protecting the State Department Official took him back to the Green Zone and the US Compound. The guards some 100 of them were then ordered to remain at the compound by both State Department and Blackwater Supervisiors. Instead they took off to the Square and started firing on the people there.

Blackwater spokes person still states the guards were protecting themselves and they check their employees quarterly for drug use.

Well, this is what happens when you have to hire mercenaries because your army isn't large enough to prosecute all the wars you want to wage. Basically, their choices were to institute a draft and be instantly voted out of office, or to use thugs like Blackwater and hope that no one ever finds out the sordid details.

The problem isn't that they hired mercenaries LordandMaster, they just hired the wrong mercenaries.
Every one knows that to get into BlackWater all you need is a NRA member ship. Most of the BW mercenaries are either on the lunatic fringe or are over it. Thats what happens when wannabe Rambos and Military rejects congregante in Colorado; Hick-a-Paloosa.

They should have hired Ronin Mercenaries LLC. (a Swiss company) They would have gotten fewer men and a larger bill but they wouldn't be in the news like this. Rule of Thumb; If you want something done right, DON'T hire an America.

Hey better idea! Lets just mind our own business and not go around invading foregin countries. Then we wouldn't need to worry about soliders period.

that last part was just my Opinion.

thats the operative word, mercernaries. We now live in the land of accept what they define themselves as rather than the empirical evidence of what they functionally or (disfunctionally), are!
