Status: offline 		I love the zep and grew up thinking they were the baddest boys on the block, but as I have gotten older I realize how much they stole from the old blues men and how groundbreaking the stones were.
Listen to gimme shelter or midnight rambler live and just have your face peeled away
Plus I own about 7000 bootlegs and the stones were a much better live band  than zeppelin.
Its the stones for me on this one.
Any questions take a listen to hot rocks and think how many know every word to every song, it amazing

They changed the face of music. I was and still am a big KISS fan, but I remember back in school when a friend loaned Me "The Song Remains The Same." I sat in My room with My jaw on the floor thinking to Myself..."Jeez...these guys ROCK!!!" My vote goes to the one and only Led Zeppelin.

Status: offline 		Meh.  I went with U2.  I relate better to most of their works even if some of their stuff was...well...wierd...even for me...

Led Zeppelin were incredible groundbreakers, for their day, but I couldn't go with them based on that alone.
