I just opened my fridge and my TV got louder. Coincidence or is there some connection? It kind of freaked me out. jen

When you opened your 'fridge door, where were your ears in relationship to the door? Might be a psychoacoustic effect.

Maybe.... the opened fridge created some sort of sound chamber where the sounds from the television were able to echo? (that means I have no idea lol) Edited to add: Why don't you just ask the little man that turns on the fridge light? I bet he knows!!

Did it switch to a commercial at that moment? Commercials tend to be louder than the shows. Also, had your ears popped? Because that can make things louder.

I live in one room, so my fridge is right next to my computer. No, it did not switch to a commercial. I am watching The View and Whoopie just got louder. It actually startled me. I don't think I am pregnant. I just finished my . yesterday. jen

Cable or antenna? Because antennas are affected by other stuff in the room. Not being cabled, I don't know about that.

TV signals can be amplifed through Electical Charge Connection. When you opened your fridge the light went on cause more electicity to flow thus the new amont of electical flow caused your TV connection/reseption to amplify the sound quality of your TV. Fun experament. Turn your radio to a channel with some static in the background of the sound then grab ahold of the reciver (mine is a Wire) the static should disaper and the sound should improve. This is caused by your body's electromagnetic field. (a field fromed by the out put of electricty by your body) Your bodys EMF catches the radio waves and transmits them to the radio, basicly turnign you into a giant reciver. Well, it would explain it, but I do not have a light in my fridge. But, it does explain why when I use my vibrator, everyone on my floor complains that their TVs go screwy. LOL jen

That's awesome. Probably not a connection, though. My father has a back massager and a couple times when I'm visiting his house, I've seen him turn it on and the TV start being wavy. Super Back Massager Powers!

It's the running joke on the floor. TV is screwed up. Jen must be playing with her toy. It is a plug in kind, so like your dad's massager, it is very possible. jen

That's what your body is - a fairly good conductor that couples the signal into your antenna. Has nothing to do with the body's EMF. thornhappy
