Thank you so much, Ma'am.  I never thought I could feel like that for another person, but She just brings out everything that is peaceful and beautiful in submission.  She makes me proud to live on my knees for Her.[:)]

SDFemDom4cuck -> RE: QUOTE of the Day (12/24/2007 12:54:20 PM)

Quite an apropos quote for the start of my day today on this Christmas Eve.

The best gift to give to your enemy is forgiveness; to an opponent, tolerance; to a friend, your heart; to your child, a good example; to a father, deference; to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you; to yourself, respect; to all men, charity.  Benjamin Franklin

No but I'd be worried about his sanity if he was talking to trees.

Do not confuse "duty" with what other people expect of you; they are utterly different. Duty is a debt you owe to yourself to fulfill obligations you have assumed voluntarily. Paying that debt can entail anything ... but the reward is self-respect. -LL

Quotes can be an interesting thing. by posting the quotes that i have, it shows the kind of person i am, or what my focus in life may be. some quotes are just inane and stupid, some are humorous, and some may speak to a topic of interest. along those lines, i respectfully submit the first of a list of quotes that i have gathered over time. i will have to dig up some of the older and more interesting for future postings... enjoy
boy tom

A Dominant borrows without long-term responsibility, a Master owns but resists the temptation to be corrupted by absolute power (gifted to Him by the slave), and instead directs it for the benefit of the household and community.

Darias,

[:D] Thanks for sharing your Mom's version of  'wind at your back'.
I've never seen that splinters quote before and it made me laugh!
sub tom: It was great to meet you! I had a grand time getting to know you, and you and I will be friends for a very long time, no doubt. I was playing this morning with those new knots you showed me, so come on back so I can practice them on you some more?  [;)]
Your quote was related to being a Master and skilled at taking long term care of his
subs and.... that someone who calls themselvs dominant may be only looking at play and control?  I think that's what your quote meant. I  call myself a Dominant, surely not a master and am focused on ensuring that anyone spending a lot of time around me is happy for the long term.

rubberpet: what made you think of that quote? Sub tom is a really sweet and kind person, so I'm sure he didn't mean to insult Dominants.
